2 years agoHats off to Ripley's and their staff! I recently rented their carpet cleaner (which performed exceptionally). Perhaps the best customer service I have received at any Jackson establishment in my 7 years in the area. Kimberly was SO helpful and pleasant to chat with over the phone and in person. Honestly, she made my day better. What a positive and genuine experience from a local business. Living in Victor, I will make it a point to go out of my way to support Ripley's for all my cleaning needs. I'll be singing your praises offline as well! Thank you!!! -

3 years agoI dropped my vacuum off for routine cleaning and maintenance and was quoted a one week turn around. At the one week mark, after not hearing from Ripley's, I called to inquire about the status of my vacuum. I was told they were running a little bit behind and that I could likely expect my vacuum to be done with in the the week. After two weeks had passed without another call from the business, I decided I was going to wait and see how long it would actually take for services to be completed/hear from the business. Now, after THREE weeks I have heard back from Elsa who is insistent that her business did nothing wrong and she was completely unwilling to accept the blame for her business to not perform promised services within the quoted time frame. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen sometimes it can be embarrassing to admit fault, but I would always rather accept blame and keep a client than rudely tell a customer that my shortcomings are their fault. Ripleys has lost a customer, but I guess they maintained their dignity. -

3 years agoDon't use for repair work!!! They charged me a $25 diagnostic fee and called to say my vacuum was ready for pick up. Only to take it home and find out that it was indeed not fixed and had to bring it back in. Then after the fact, they told me they are "not able to offer a diagnosis" Terrible customer service!!! -
