4 months agoTeton Rope Access and Services did an excellent job for us. They felled and blocked two trees quickly and safely, and were easy to work with throughout the process. The total cost of the job was very reasonable. The entire job was completed within a week of initial contact. We could not be happier with the services and highly recommend them! -

10 months agoWe had a great experience with TRA regarding arborist work. First they assessed a few dying pine trees on our mountain property. Luckily some trees did not need to cut down immediately. Second, the one they needed to cut down was only 10 feet from our home and very close to newly planted aspens, and two 25 year chokecherry and cedar trees. They cut down the dying tree without harming our home or our other trees. They're super friendly and did great work.

FAQ
How does TRA, Teton Rope Access and Services LLC determine pricing for tree removal and assessment work?
We provide custom estimates based on the specific details of your project. Factors that influence pricing include the type and size of trees being removed, whether you want the wood disposed of or kept, stump grinding needs, site accessibility, and whether we need specialized equipment like rope access or a crane. During your initial assessment, we review all these variables with you to deliver an accurate quote. Many of our clients find that our final invoices come in under the original estimate.
Are your estimates free, and do you offer written quotes before starting work?
TRA, Teton Rope Access and Services LLC offers free assessments and written estimates so you can review the scope and cost before making any commitment. This gives you a clear picture of what the work involves and allows you to compare options. Once you approve the estimate and we move forward, we maintain close communication throughout the project to ensure there are no surprises.
What makes TRA, Teton Rope Access and Services LLC different when handling difficult tree jobs on mountain properties?
Our rope access approach allows us to safely and efficiently tackle trees in challenging locations where traditional equipment may not work well. This specialized method is particularly valuable for steep terrain, tight spaces, or large cottonwoods and pines common to mountain properties in the Teton area. We combine technical skill with careful planning to complete difficult jobs cleanly and safely, minimizing impact to your property.
How quickly can you schedule an appointment, and what should I expect during the assessment visit?
TRA, Teton Rope Access and Services LLC works to accommodate your schedule and get you on the calendar in a timely manner. During your assessment visit, we'll evaluate the condition and type of trees on your property, discuss your goals for the work, and answer any questions you have. We then provide a written estimate on the spot so you can make an informed decision about moving forward.
What happens to the logs, wood chips, and debris after TRA, Teton Rope Access and Services LLC completes the tree removal?
We discuss disposal and wood handling options during your initial assessment. You can choose to keep the wood for firewood or other uses, or we can remove and dispose of it as part of the service. We also handle stump grinding if needed. Our goal is to leave your property clean and ready once the work is complete, with all debris properly managed according to your preferences.
Why is professional tree removal safer than attempting this work yourself?
Tree removal and felling require specialized training, equipment, and experience to execute safely. Working at heights, managing heavy limbs, and controlling where a tree falls all present serious risks to people and property. Professional arborists understand tree structure, weight distribution, and hazard assessment in ways that prevent injury and property damage. Our team uses proven techniques and safety protocols developed over years of experience handling complex jobs on mountain terrain.
