1 month agoMy wife and I have used L.A. Floors several times over the last four years for both LVL flooring and tile work in our master bathroom including our shower surround and floor. I wish I could include an image of the LVL flooring in our home, but it's mostly covered by a large oriental rugs--but his work was perfection. I was surprised that he used self-leveling concrete to prepare areas of our (basement) floor. The floor seemed well enough to me, but Lincoln is a perfectionist, the work was excellent and he stuck to his quote. We were very pleased. When it came time to tile our master bathroom, we were given a list of installers by the retailer, we selected the installer who's address was close to us and he gave us a quote well north of $13,000. That seemed really outrageous to my wife and I as we are not novices to remodeling. Then I remembered that Lincoln Pfaff (L.A. Floors) also installed tile so I gave him a call. He came out and we decided to accept a "time and materials" quote (a methodology I prefer as it seems fair to both parties). Lincoln's work was agonizingly precise. But he estimated three days and it took a little more then that, maybe another half day for he and his assistant (also a quality installer) to complete the job. Our floor tile was a natural stone (quartz) with its inherent inconsistencies with respect to flatness, shape and dimension--but you cannot tell that there were any problems as the finished product did not reveal ANY such issues. That we saved more than $8,000--(I admit I did assist with some parts of the job, cleaning tools and similar), but seemed a small price to pay for the quality of the work and a a job well done. 4 months agoExceptional!!! Lincoln and his crew removed all old carpet, installed LVP flooring and new carpeting on staircase in our huge basement. They did precision work and detailing throughout. It looks gorgeous. They were amazing and took great care to treat our home as if it were their own. It was a big job and they were here an entire week. Can't say enough good about Lincoln. -
