1 month agoVery expensive for the outcome received. We paid $8,000 for weed-eating and cleanup on a 0.55-acre foothill property with overgrown weeds, leaves, and debris piles. The crew of three worked two days. To be fair, the contractor was responsive when others were not, communication was generally professional, and the work was completed as narrowly described in the contract. My main concern is that, despite the very high price, a substantial amount of leaves and sticks remained across the yard after the job. My wife then spent the next two days raking and filling about 30 thirteen-gallon bags of leaves from the ?finished? property. That suggests the cleanup was not as thorough as a customer would reasonably expect at this price point. Advice to others: get multiple quotes, ask neighbors what is typical, and define the final cleanup condition in writing, including leaves, sticks, and debris. Premium pricing should bring premium judgment and a cleaner final result. That was not our experience -

1 year agoClint & his crew saved me! I needed to get a pretty large and ugly clean up job done for my yard within a short amount of time. Not only were they one of the only companies that answered the phone but Clint was very helpful during the process. The rates are MORE than fair. Definitely going to be a repeat customer. Highly recommend. -

3 years agoI needed help removing grass from a fairly large area to prepare for installing a paver patio and I didn't know where to start. I found The Yard Guy and he was fantastic! Came over for a free estimate and showed up on time for the job. (Actually started a day earlier than planned, which was fine by me!) Profesional. Courteous. Responsive. I would definitely use his services again and I highly recommend him! On to the next phase of my project... and I am thrilled! -

FAQ
How does The Yard Guy LLC determine pricing for snow removal services?
We assess pricing based on property size, snow accumulation levels, and access difficulty to ensure fair value for the work involved. For example, larger properties like 0.55-acre lots with heavy debris may require multiple crew days, reflecting the effort in clearing driveways and walkways. Free estimates are available upon request to give you a clear upfront cost before committing.
Do you offer free estimates for hardscaping projects?
The Yard Guy LLC provides free estimates for all hardscaping services, including flagstone walkways and retaining walls, after an on-site evaluation. This allows us to factor in materials, labor, and site-specific challenges for an accurate quote. Contact us to schedule a visit and discuss your landscape design needs.
Does The Yard Guy LLC handle snow plow services for residential driveways?
We specialize in snow removal, including plowing residential driveways as shown in our service photos from Kenosha, WI. Our team uses equipped pickup trucks to clear snow efficiently, keeping your property accessible during winter storms. This service extends to walkways and other outdoor areas to maintain full functionality.
What should I expect for scheduling and arrival times?
We coordinate scheduling based on your preferred timeline and weather conditions, confirming arrival windows in advance for snow removal or seasonal cleanups. Crews arrive prepared with the right equipment, typically working full days on larger tasks like land clearing. Expect clear communication if adjustments are needed due to unforeseen delays.
How does The Yard Guy LLC handle debris cleanup after services?
We remove all waste and debris from sites after completing tasks like seasonal cleanups, weed-eating, or snow removal, leaving your property tidy. For overgrown areas with leaves and piles, our crew hauls away materials responsibly. This ensures your yard is functional and ready for immediate use without leftover mess.
Why is hiring you for irrigation systems safer than doing it yourself?
Our approach to installing and maintaining irrigation systems avoids common DIY errors like improper pressure settings that can damage pipes or waste water. We use professional tools and knowledge of local soil conditions in Kenosha to ensure efficient, leak-free performance year-round. This prevents costly repairs and keeps your landscape healthy without the risks of amateur installation.
