4 years agoWe contacted five fence companies in our area for vinyl fencing. One never responded, one said they had to order the product and it would take from two to four months before they could install, and the other did not offer the fence we wanted. We contacted A to Z and Justin responded to my inquiry in a matter of hours. He made a trip the next day from Hartford to give us a quote. When install time came, Chris, Zack and Todd worked hard for two days to install our fence. They kept me informed every step of the way. Chris explained everything when they were done. I don't think they EVER took a break. I would HIGHLY recommend A to Z for their fencing needs. Thank you to everyone for a beautiful fence! -

5 years agoAsked to put 50 feet of chance fence back up. They asked if it was there fence or looking for a whole new fence. After all those questions they all of a sudden don't have time. Not there fence not a big job your not worth there time. -

6 years agoCalling the office to get a quote is a nightmare. They advise you to go online to their website and do your own quote via some map system. Then it gives you a wide price range. If you are interested then a person emails you a better price range and if you still are hanging on, they will send someone. Why all the hassle? Just send someone!!! I was able to get an emailed price on a few options after sending my own map in. I had some questions and got responses. After doing some research on their claims, they are totally false. Drilling out a wood post and sliding in a metal post is a terrible idea and a terrible concept with no data to support your 90+ mph wind rating. Every other company has real raw data from actual manufactures to support the claims. After reading reviews from their west bend location, they are not all they seem to be. The owner has nasty responses to homeowners. Also on Yelp, the owner lashes out at homeowners. It appears that it is not his fault. Why would anyone want to deal with this company if they cannot even get a fence placement correct. I also found out that one of his five star reviews was posted by an employee of his, talk about padding his rating. I went with a different, LOCAL company, not someone from west bend. A company that had great reviews and actual data. Good luck

FAQ
How does A to Z Quality Fencing and Structures-Appleton determine pricing for fence installation or repairs?
We assess pricing based on project specifics like materials, size, fence type such as vinyl or black metal, and any site preparation needs including utility checks. Factors like storm damage extent or gate automation also influence the final quote. Homeowners receive a clear breakdown to understand costs upfront, helping avoid surprises from seasonal material changes or labor demands.
Are you licensed and insured for fencing work?
A to Z Quality Fencing and Structures-Appleton carries the necessary licensing and insurance to perform fence installations, repairs, and related handyman services in the Appleton area. This coverage protects homeowners from liabilities if accidents or damages occur during projects like panel replacements or gate setups. Proof of licensing and insurance is available upon request to confirm compliance with local standards.
Does A to Z Quality Fencing and Structures-Appleton handle storm damage fence repairs and utility checks?
We manage storm damage fixes by replacing knocked-down panels and restoring fence sections promptly after events like fallen trees. Our handyman services include utility checks with locators to verify markings before digging, ensuring safe installations for vinyl fences, black metal fences, gates, and structures. This covers tasks from single panels to full backyard or indoor enclosures.
What is your typical timeline and scheduling process for fence projects?
We provide realistic timelines based on project scope, such as quicker repairs for storm-damaged panels versus longer installs for full structures or automatic gates. Arrival windows are confirmed in advance, with our crew prioritizing clear communication to start work as expected. Delays from utility reconfirmations or material needs are addressed upfront to keep homeowners informed.
What does A to Z Quality Fencing and Structures-Appleton do with debris and cleanup after a job?
We handle removal of old fencing materials, posts, and installation waste to leave your property clean and tidy. A final sweep ensures no debris remains near the new vinyl, metal, or gate installations, whether in backyards, front yards, or indoor spaces. This standard practice minimizes homeowner effort post-project.
Why is hiring you for fence installation safer and better than a DIY approach?
Our professional methods include calling locators to reconfirm utility locations, preventing damage to underground lines that DIY efforts often miss. We use hands-on care for secure installations of fences and gates, applying techniques like proper post setting for longevity beyond big box store kits. This reduces risks of structural failure, neighbor disputes from poor placement, and future repair costs.
