5 months agoIt was a pleasure working with Grant Thompson Construction from the start, beginning with my initial phone call, followed by a prompt visit to my home to work up a punch list with Dan and Gregg, then a quick and economical project bid. Communication with Tina was always rapid. They created a well-delineated timeline and maintained good adherence to that timeline, Appointments with their designated trusted vendors were productive. Subcontractors were well monitored and managed. And I am extremely happy with their overall work and my outstanding kitchen remodel outcome. My job included replacing the kitchen countertops, backsplash, stove, hood fan/light, sink, faucet and garbage disposal as well as a few other little odd jobs around the house. Every single item was done well and professionally. Project manager Dan was great. He hustled all day long. He did the demo work, made carpentry adjustments, created solutions for any little issues that arose, and was always there to supervise and assist subcontractors. He seemed to enjoy the challenge of managing the job, and I very much trusted him and his work. Gregg the electrician was also noteworthy and willing to help with any issue i threw at him, like fixing my front doorbell, installing a punch code lock, and finding and installing a new fan and vent unit for my custom range hood, in addition to the kitchen electrical work. I give Grant Thompson Construction a huge double-thumbs up, and will look to them again in the future. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors. They're all impressed with the job, too. 10 months agoHighly recommend. I remodeled my main floor, the majority of it. Removed walls. Custom kitchen. Custom general bathroom. Replaced the flooring. Changed out windows and doors and millwork and, well, pretty much rebuilt the main floor. Spent more than I initially thought, but that's all on me. As I watched the work being done, I wanted more work to be done and of the same quality GTC was giving. Being disabled, GTC worked around my living situation. The sub contractors used were absolute quality and helped form my vision. Of the General Contractors I looked at, I chose well with GTC. I've plans to finish my basement and undertake outside work. I'll be reaching out to GTC for these projects as well. You can't go wrong using this company. -
