Waldron has a very organized and impressive process and we felt informed and cared for during each phase. The team of craftsmen are highly skilled and experienced, care about the quality of their work, and work very well together. Andrew is a patient design partner and trusted consultant and answered all of our questions and requests, big or small. The owner, Joe Waldron, checked in often and made sure everything was done to his high standard. We were looking for a fair price, high quality work, attention to detail, and a well managed project. 6 months agoOutstanding Experience with Waldron Construction - Highly Recommend! Waldron Construction in Antioch, IL remodeled my bathroom starting in April 2025, and I honestly couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience - from start to finish. A little background: I bought my home in Lindenhurst, IL in November 1999. My bathroom was previously remodeled in October 2015 through Home Depot, who (oddly) sent a contractor all the way from Schererville, Indiana. While it looked good initially, the results didn't last. The paint on the ceiling above the tub and shower started cracking and peeling, and the paint on the walls near the tub began bubbling and flaking shortly after the project was done. Waldron Construction completely tore out the old bathroom and rebuilt it the right way. Their skilled carpenters not only did beautiful work, but they also diagnosed and corrected the issue that had caused my paint problems - something the first remodel completely missed. Now, I know this new remodel will last for years to come. I have to give a special shoutout to the designer, Andrew Liston. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and responsive - even during non-business hours after I returned home from work. Remodeling can be stressful and overwhelming, but Andrew calmly walked me through every step, answered every question, and truly helped reduce my anxiety. He took the time upfront to guide me through all the design options - flooring, tile, tub, shower - and respected my request to keep my original sink, medicine cabinet, and toilet. Just before the project started, a windstorm tore my storm door off and damaged the frame. I asked Andrew if Waldron could help, and without hesitation, he added the repair to my project. He even sent me a wide variety of doors and storm doors to choose from, making the process easy and stress-free. What impressed me most was the specialization of each trade. Waldron doesn't cut corners by having one person do everything. They brought in experts for each part - carpentry, tile, painting, shower doors, and more. Everyone who worked in my home was professional, friendly, and clearly skilled at their craft. On the rare occasion I noticed something that needed attention, they sent the right person back promptly to make it right. Joe Waldron, the owner, was also very involved throughout the process. He visited my home multiple times to ensure the work was progressing smoothly and met high standards. His hands-on approach really shows that quality and customer satisfaction are important to him and his team. The final result? My bathroom looks fantastic, the issue that plagued my last remodel is fixed, and the entire project - including the door replacement - was completed at a very fair price. If you're considering a remodeling project, I highly recommend Waldron Construction. They're honest, dependable, professional, and truly care about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their clients. I couldn't be happier! -

6 months agoThree months after our remodel was done, I was taking a bath and water came through our ceiling into the kitchen from the bath. I suspected the tub overflow. Fox Plumbing came out the next day to fix the leak. The plumber, Robert took apart the tub overflow and put it back together and said nothing was leaking. Since he found no cause for the leak I am afraid it may happen again. We had three buckets to catch the water. I didn't find anywhere in the contract that damage to our kitchen from leaks is covered. Fox has poor reviews. I only looked at Waldron's reviews. Waldron Construction management was contacted by my husband and I seeking answers. Joe is satisfied with the plumber's assessment that nothing is wrong. I'm disappointed. I want a bathroom without mysterious leaks. I will be seeking plumbing help elsewhere. We remodeled our bathroom to take out our old fiberglass tub and then we got a standup shower with glass doors and a bathtub. We updated our toilet and our double sinks and had the walls painted and new flooring put in so everything's all new. The people that they have are kind and they come and do the work like they should. We had a few problems and we had to wait for them to find solutions but I think that that's probably typical that things will come up and then you have to wait for them to solve the problem. -

6 months agoI don't normally leave reviews. Good or bad I usually don't take the time, but felt it was necessary here. We had a complete gutting and remodeling of our master bathroom done by Waldron and were extremely pleased with all phases of the project. Dawn the designer offered great ideas and visuals so we could come up with the final look. Was very open to the changes my wife wanted and helped throughout the process. From demolition to finished project the team at Waldron handled everything very professionally. The workers were always great, cleaned up after the workday and provided quality work. Even made some good suggestions that we ended up following. With any major remodel like this there is bound to be things that come up. Waldron handled all of those challenges with our satisfaction being most important. Made sure we had a functioning bathroom, on time with no disruption and remedied all issues to our satisfaction. Even if the issue was out of their control, they took responsibility and we couldn't be more pleased with the finished product and the process to get there. I will definitely employ Waldron again for projects in the future. -

6 months agoWas impressed with Waldron Construction from start to finish. Everyone I dealt at Waldron was wonderful to work with, professional and knowledgeable. My project was huge, and included replacing a bay window and another kitchen window, as well as replacing countertops in the kitchen and a bath, replacing sinks, and adding hardware. Work went according to price and plan, and any subcontractor issues were dealt with immediately by the Waldron team. Assistance with selection of products needed was much appreciated. Price quoted did not deviate from what I actually paid. I highly recommend Waldron Construction and would definitely want to work with them again.
