2 months agoI'm not impressed with the work from this company. They did the installs in my new build neighborhood and installed a 1 heat 1 cool thermostat so my heat pump was working overtime and I was freezing in the winter. Any reputable company would have caught this if they checked their work. I called someone else and they fixed this issue for 250$ and gave me a new thermostat. It's disappointing someone would cause me to live so long without heat when they got paid to install a new system and it should have been working right all along. -

1 year ago1st) Thank you, Rexroad. 2nd) My issue. MON had a power shortage at my home, which blew the control panel on my oil furnace. I use my oil furnace on the really cold days of winter as a helper for our electric furnace. Made the call, I got Gary. Amazing guy from the very start. I knew nothing about my furnace before he arrived at my home. He explained everything and confirmed what I thought was the issue. My oil furnace was made in 1968 and is still in the best operation it could possibly be. He found a new controller at a little pricey, not Rexroads fault. However, you get what you pay for, right? Amazing work in under 23 minutes it was wired in and working flawlessly. The whole process was very easy, painless. I will, from this point forward, recommend Rexroad / Gary to everyone. Thanks again to Gary & Everyone at Rexroad Heating & cooling. -

2 years agoThe only reason they got an extra star is because they did show up on time. Once there, the repairman checked the heat pump that was making awful noises and said everything was "normal" even though it wasn't operating like the same unit sitting next to it. I pointed out that the thermostat wasn't reading the outside temp and he said "oh.. yea it must be the sensor went out", but then he couldn't find the sensor (made almost not attempt) and said I had to replace the thermostat. No problem. I got a quote from them for $1900 to replace 2 thermostats! Outrageous. This is the poster child for being ripped off by an HVAC company. -

FAQ
How does Rexroad Heating and Cooling determine pricing for HVAC installs, repairs, and upgrades?
We assess pricing based on the specific job, including factors like equipment sizing, labor needs, and any required upgrades such as swapping an undersized unit. Custom quotes account for the scope, whether it's a new build installation or an emergency repair like fixing a control panel after a power shortage. This ensures you get an accurate cost without surprises, tailored to your heat pump, furnace, or AC system.

We manage a full range of HVAC services, from repairing control panels damaged by power issues on oil furnaces to upgrading undersized AC units in new homes. Our team addresses emergencies and routine fixes for heat pumps, furnaces, and AC systems to restore comfort quickly. Proper sizing and installation prevent common problems like systems working overtime.
What should I expect for scheduling and arrival times with you?
We schedule appointments promptly for both new builds and urgent calls, arriving within the agreed window to minimize wait times. Technicians complete jobs efficiently, such as professional repairs that wrap up cleanly without lingering. Clear communication sets realistic timelines from assessment to finish, helping you plan around our visits.
How does Rexroad Heating and Cooling handle cleanup and after-service care?

Professionals ensure code compliance and safety, unlike DIY where errors can lead to inefficiency, breakdowns, or hazards.
