2 years agoIf this is the wrong place, my apologies and I will remove the review immediately if it is not. This is regarding a Chad Hall who works for this company, but has an area code 304 number (will not give the full number out in case it is his private cell). I got his contact through my realtor, who got it through one of her brokers. He came highly recommended, but unfortunately he decided that I was not worthy of his professionalism or respect. On Tuesday, August 29th I texted him, and he called me very promptly. I told him all that I needed to get done and he let me know how much it was per hour, and assured me that they would be able to get it done before I leave the country for work. It was understood that it would be the following week, but I had to keep contacting him in order to get a day and time frame scheduled (I work full time and wanted to plan ahead). He tells me that they make the schedules for the following weeks on Sundays, and he'll get to me then. I waited until Monday morning and texted him, and he said tomorrow (that's today). First of all, I know NO ONE in the service industry who is not able to schedule a day and time range more than a day in advance. He tried to use that as his first excuse. Then, I try to ask him for a time range so I can come home from work. He says 3-4, then he texts me at 2:30 and says they are coming now. I was still at work and told him I would be unable to be there before 3, and then he cancels the appointment via text when I told him I can't be there before 3. I call him and tell him I'm upset and confused by the communication, and I try to explain my side (which, my expectations were just regular expectations for anyone who works for a living), and he smugly tells me, sorry I don't think this will work. I have had mostly incredible service from people throughout my life, and this is the first one where after I hung up I cried because of his manipulative, rude, and unprofessional way of doing things. Never in my life and I am so thankful that most people in Charleston do not operate this way. I called the Handyman of Kanawha and they were able to give me a day and time range right away. I am so grateful for their help when Chad hung me out to dry. -

2 years agoI found this business online and took a chance being that I live out of town and am not available to oversee the work. Chad is awesome! He is punctual, an excellent communicator, and very polite and respectful. He sends photos of his work and is very detailed in all he does. His team is very pleasant and personable. I am so glad that I have Home Pros to handle the jobs I need done in Charleston. I highly recommend! -
