3 weeks agoClay went above and beyond for us on our issue and Mr. Electric's rates were at or below their competitors. Their service was quick even going out of their way to make things easy for us when it came to our next projects in the work area. -

3 weeks agoMr. Electric is terrific. I called for something simple but they offered a free electrical inspection so I said sure, why not. Well, they soon showed me where my 1969 electrical panel (circuit breaker box) was starting to melt. This was not visible from the outside or by just opening the panel door. They took the whole metal cover off and then understand what they were looking at. Once they showed me, it was easy to see. I am very grateful they looked, as I may have been days or weeks from an electrical or even whole house fire. I had them change it out, of course, in addition to fixing the things I originally called about. Josy in the office & the electricians who worked here, Josh, Javier, and Bethany, were all great. At one point they moved some stuff in the garage and before she put it back, Bethany even swept the area, knocking down and taking away at least 50 spider webs. Pretty great service if you ask me. I now plan to have them give me a free inspection at my little rental house. I hope they find no problems but if they do, Mr. Electric is for sure the electrician I'm going to hire to fix them. -

4 weeks agoClay came out on a Saturday and was able to quickly identify the issue with my panel as well as quickly fix an issue with my outdoor breaker box for our hot tub. Javier and Clay were able to return a few days later and upgrade my entire panel, which we had known was an issue, for a fraction of what we were quoted elsewhere. They were courteous and respectful the whole time and took time to ensure the labeling was done properly.

FAQ
Does Mr. Electric of Vancouver offer free estimates or electrical inspections?
We offer free electrical inspections to help identify issues like aging panels or breaker problems before they worsen. Our team assesses the situation on-site and explains the scope of work needed, including any repairs or upgrades. This allows homeowners to understand the full picture without upfront costs.
Are you licensed and insured for electrical work?
Mr. Electric of Vancouver employs licensed and insured electricians equipped to handle residential electrical services safely. We carry the necessary credentials to perform panel upgrades, repairs, and installations in compliance with local codes. Homeowners can verify our status through standard industry channels for added peace of mind.
Does Mr. Electric of Vancouver handle electrical panel replacements and generator installations?
We specialize in diagnosing and replacing aging electrical panels, including those from older homes like 1969 models, as well as installing standby generators such as Kohler and Guardian units. Our technicians also address related issues like bus bar failures or outdoor breaker boxes for hot tubs. These services ensure your home's electrical system meets modern safety standards.
What is your typical scheduling process and arrival window?
Mr. Electric of Vancouver provides flexible scheduling, including weekend visits for urgent panel issues or repairs. We confirm arrival windows in advance and aim to address problems quickly once on-site, often completing assessments and fixes in a single visit. Homeowners receive updates if any follow-up is needed for larger projects like panel upgrades.
Does Mr. Electric of Vancouver clean up after electrical repairs or installations?
We leave your home clean and tidy after every job, removing debris from panel work, generator installations, or ceiling fan repairs. Our team takes care to protect floors and surfaces during the process and ensures all areas are restored to their original condition. This includes proper disposal of old wiring, breakers, or fixtures.
Why is it safer to hire you instead of attempting DIY electrical repairs?
Professional electricians use specialized tools and training to diagnose complex issues like burning bus bars or faulty outdoor boxes, avoiding risks of shocks, fires, or code violations that DIY attempts often cause. We explain options clearly after thorough assessments, ensuring repairs like panel replacements are done correctly for long-term safety. Homeowners avoid potential hazards from mishandling high-voltage systems without proper expertise.
