2 months agoWe had HVAC 1 do our complete heat and A/C system in our new construction and a 5 star is just no enough. The crew are like a machine and they work together like non I have seen. Our family friend is who is also a contractor and the person helping me get our house built uses another heating company. It was another family friend who told us to call Paul at HVAC 1 and we are so glad we did. With all that is going on in the world today I feel word of mouth is the way to go. A review can be a great way to help spread the word. It was Paul who said to use Cory at Empire to do the plumbing and they did a superb job. I guess so good that my contractor friend who was just here will be sending the plans for the duplex he is building over to Cory at Empire. He is also sending plans to HVAC 1, he has used his other guy for the last 20 years I believe. He walked through my house while the HVAC 1 crew were just finishing up and he was impressed with their work and their attention to detail and of course the quote I had before they started. So if you are building or just need your furnace serviced or repaired don't hesitate to call HVAC 1. Oh they also did my sons furnace. Thank you Joanna Foreman -

2 months agoI highly recommend HVAC1 ! Michael and David went above and beyond to resolve several issues techs from Banner couldn't diagnose much less solve. They quickly diagnosed and fixed a CO infiltration issue with the furnace, fixed a fault from an old hot water heater, serviced my hot water heater, and serviced my gas fireplace. Then, they recommended more reasonable service intervals, and an action plan to improve my household ventilation and repair several faults left over from the previous owners. I couldn't be happier! Michael and David are GENIUSES!!! HVAC1 has earned a life long customer!!! -

2 months agoWe had HVAC1 come out and do our system in the home we are building. They came highly recommended from some friends of the family when we found our sons first home a few years ago. It's funny the gimmicks other companies use to get your business and HVAC1 does not do this. (When we did our sons house another company I will not name claimed they will beat any competitors pricing and they were advertising free A/C with a heating unit. Their price for the furnace was 1000's more then HVAC 1's price, and to beat the price you don't get the A/C. We only found this out because my son had called them first before I said to call HVAC1)The work Paul's crew did was Phenomenal. They went above and beyond my expectations and were extremely professional and the team worked together like they are the best of buddies. I did not expect what I received. I can't wait to see what they come up with when we build the shop that will be linked to the house via a sky bridge going to the living quarters in the shop. -

3 months agoGreat guys, easy to work with. If you bug them long enough there be there at night to get it done for you. Had them as HVAC sub for years. Strongly recommend. Office may not respond right away but owner cares enough to cull at 9 pm apologize for the no respond and do the job himself after work hours. You can't beat that. Builders like me, try him out you won't regret. -

3 months agoFIRST OFF, I have NEVER givin anybody a 5 star rating in my entire life and IF it is ever going to happen again it better be as close to picture perfect as you can get. HVAC1, was just that!...And everything else inbetween A to Z. They were the 3rd place I'd called and they not only tried to fit me in(sameday) they had a service tech working on my furnace within 1.5 hrs. A side from being a very knowledgable efficent and professional worker this cat named Mike was an outright cool funny and down to earth caring guy.It was a scary $$ furnace problem turned into a no rush gidder done with a splash a fun situation. Now down to the finish.. the letter Z part..I was shocked with the bill.I really thought it was going to be at minimum twice that much. BONUS How many furnace /AC companies do you see that don't expect full payment OR large downpayment on the day of service? Not many IF any!...HVAC1 is one that doesn't. Thank you to Mike , Steve and the crew at HVAC1

FAQ
How does Semenik Hvac/r determine pricing for HVAC installations and repairs?
We base pricing on the specific needs of your project, including equipment type, system size, and any required troubleshooting or custom installations for new construction. Factors like ductwork modifications or handling complex issues such as CO infiltration also influence the final cost. Contact us for a detailed quote tailored to your home's requirements.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Semenik Hvac/r carries the necessary licensing and insurance to perform HVAC installations and repairs safely and in compliance with local regulations in Spokane, WA. Our team handles refrigerant properly and meets industry standards for all jobs. Homeowners can request proof of our credentials before starting any work.
Does Semenik Hvac/r handle installations of heat pumps, mini-splits, and furnaces for new construction?
We specialize in full heat and A/C system installations for new builds, including outdoor heat pump units, Mitsubishi mini-split condensers, Coleman and Trane furnaces, and associated ductwork. Our crew installs these systems in utility spaces and alongside buildings to ensure proper performance. This covers both residential new construction and repairs that require precise equipment placement.
What is your typical timeline and scheduling process?
We schedule jobs based on your availability, with our crew available to work late at night if needed to meet tight deadlines for builders or homeowners. For new construction HVAC installations, expect coordination around your build timeline, with clear arrival windows provided upfront. Our tight-knit team completes troubleshooting and installs efficiently to minimize disruptions.
Does Semenik Hvac/r clean up after HVAC installations and repairs?
We leave your home or job site clean by removing debris from installations like furnaces, ductwork, and outdoor units. Our process includes proper disposal of old materials during repairs or new system setups. This ensures the space is ready for use right after we finish.
Why is hiring you better than attempting HVAC repairs or installations as a DIY project?
Professional HVAC work requires expertise to diagnose hidden issues like CO infiltration that DIY methods often miss, preventing safety risks and system failures. Our coordinated crew follows precise installation standards for equipment like heat pumps and mini-splits, ensuring efficiency and longevity that exceeds amateur attempts. DIY lacks the tools and knowledge for proper ductwork integration and refrigerant handling, which can lead to higher energy costs or hazards.
