2 months agoThey installed a hyper heat air handler system and were efficient with excellent communication throughout. They came back the next day to help troubleshoot an issue, which turned out to be a settings adjustment. Highly recommend. -

5 months agoThis company did a great job of installing heat pumps in a very high-quality manner, and the Mitsubhishi units have been transformational. The team was very good and efficient, and the devices work perfectly. Only tiny suggestion would be to ask them about installation options in terms of the house exterior, because it seemed they're so used to doing this they didn't think to explain the upsides and downside of the alternatives beforehand, so we could mull it over. But that said, the work was great, the machines are excellent, and the balanced heat (and cooling) in the house is prefect. -

FAQ
How does Energy Technologies determine pricing for Mitsubishi heat pump installations?
We base pricing on factors like home size, number of zones, existing electrical setup, and specific Mitsubishi models such as hyper heat air handlers or hybrid heat pump water heaters. Custom quotes account for load calculations to ensure proper sizing for Seattle's climate. Free estimates are provided after an on-site evaluation to give accurate costs without obligation.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC and electrical work?
Energy Technologies holds all required licensing for HVAC contracting and electrical services in Seattle, along with full insurance coverage including general liability and workers' compensation. This protects homeowners from liability during installations like mini-split systems or water heater replacements. We meet local permitting requirements and EPA standards for handling refrigerants.
Does Energy Technologies install hyper heat air handlers and hybrid heat pump water heaters?
We specialize in installing Mitsubishi hyper heat air handlers for efficient heating in cold weather and hybrid heat pump water heaters as upgrades for basements. Our team manages full setups from mounting outdoor condensers to indoor piping and troubleshooting settings issues. These systems replace old electric units effectively in Seattle homes.
What is your typical timeline for scheduling and completing a heat pump installation?
We schedule installations within a few days of quote approval, with most single-zone systems completed in one day and multi-zone setups like 3-zone mini-splits over two days. Arrival windows are confirmed the day before, and we coordinate around your availability. Post-install testing ensures everything operates correctly before we leave.
What does Energy Technologies do with debris and how do they leave the home after installation?
We remove all old units, packaging, and installation debris, hauling it away responsibly at no extra cost. Our technicians use drop cloths and shoe covers to protect floors and furnishings during work on indoor and outdoor units. The site is thoroughly cleaned, leaving your home neat and ready for immediate use.
Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting a DIY heat pump installation?
Professional installation follows manufacturer specs for refrigerant charging, electrical connections, and line set insulation, preventing efficiency losses or system failures common in DIY attempts. We perform proper sizing and testing to avoid risks like electrical hazards or voided warranties. Trained technicians ensure code compliance and quick troubleshooting, unlike DIY where errors can lead to costly repairs.
