The business previously offered parts, but that aspect is now gone. ACPlus remains open. Recent experiences indicate inconsistent hours and locked doors before closing time. Lack of communication from staff has been noted.

Used to be better for parts. Came in today at 3:14pm and door was locked. Before 3:30 closing time. Employee walking around chose to say nothing to me as he checked vehicles door locks for AC plus. Oh well, took my business elsewhere. Was 4 stars, front doors closed early, 3 stars, Employee says nothing and no posted sign, just a guy walking around half sighed/with a yeah right grunt now your at 2 stars. Would have been okay with guy saying they closed early, and maybe a idk why. Great place that has a lot of stock. But make sure you not too early or close to closing cause they could be closed. Maybe they can put actual hours they are open.

FAQ

Does Cooler City offer free estimates for HVAC installation or repair?

We provide free, detailed estimates after inspecting your HVAC system to determine the scope of work needed. These estimates break down costs for parts, labor, and any required materials based on the specific job, such as system replacements or thermostat programming. This approach helps you understand the full pricing upfront without hidden fees.

Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?

Cooler City technicians carry proper licensing and insurance to meet local requirements for HVAC services in Victorville. We maintain general liability and workers' compensation coverage to protect your property during installations, repairs, and maintenance. Homeowners can request proof of these credentials before we start any project.

Does Cooler City handle thermostat programming and indoor unit inspections?

We manage thermostat programming as part of our HVAC installation and maintenance services to optimize your system's efficiency. Our technicians also perform detailed inspections of indoor units, like opening covers to check internal components for issues. This ensures your heating and cooling equipment operates smoothly year-round.

What is your typical arrival window and scheduling process?

We confirm appointment times with you in advance and arrive within a two-hour window to accommodate your schedule. Technicians contact you 30 minutes prior to arrival for HVAC repair or maintenance visits. Expect most jobs, from repairs to full installations, to take one full day depending on system complexity.

Does Cooler City clean up after HVAC service and handle debris?

We use drop cloths and shoe covers to protect your floors and furnishings during the job. All debris, old parts, and packaging from HVAC repairs or installations get removed and disposed of properly when we finish. Your home stays clean and ready for immediate use afterward.

Why is hiring you safer than attempting HVAC repairs as a DIY project?

Professional HVAC work requires handling refrigerants, electrical components, and high-pressure systems that demand specialized certification to avoid risks like leaks or shocks. Our methodical approach includes load calculations, duct inspections, and performance testing to ensure safe, efficient operation without voiding warranties. DIY attempts often lead to improper sizing or connections that shorten equipment life and increase energy costs.
