5 months agoI called him and he told me he wouldn't be able to come out for a few weeks but offered to hear my concerns. After talking with him I have a better idea of how to handle the situation and save myself some money. If you want an honest business this is your company. Thanks again! -

2 years agoHello Erik, You came to inspect our house about a month ago and you gave us lots of good recommendations. We are very grateful for your time and efforts. One of the things you suggested to us was to put some peanuts in each of the two crawl spaces in our attic as a way to monitor for any rat activity. That was a great idea! We did as you suggested and I'm happy to say that after checking the spaces each week for the past four weeks all the of nuts remain! We will now begin checking once a month and hopefully we have the same luck going forward. We did hear the chewing sound one more time since you were here coming from the same area that had prompted our call to you in the first place, but we are trusting that it is not coming from inside the house given that the peanuts have not been eaten. So, all of this is just to give you an update, and to thank you again for your help. We will certainly be in touch if we have more problems in the future. Thank you! Henry & Gabriella -

4 years agoErik recently came to our home to do an inspection of the property and offer solutions for a rat problem in the yard. He spent two hours with me, listening to my concerns, offering options, solutions, advice and specifics on how I might be able to control our problem with preventative measures rather than traditional bait stations or traps. We have a bit of a wildlife sanctuary here, so it was important to me to weigh all of the options and cause the least harm to the environment. He was very kind, very knowledgeable and extremely generous with his time. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

FAQ
How does Puget Sound Rodent Exclusion Specialist Seattle Rodent Guy determine pricing for rodent exclusion services?
We base pricing on the level of expertise and specialized skills required for your property's specific needs, rather than square footage or superficial factors. A thorough inspection identifies entry points and vulnerable areas, leading to a custom quote that reflects the necessary repairs. This ensures you receive fair value tailored to the actual work involved.
Are you licensed and insured for wildlife and pest control work?
Puget Sound Rodent Exclusion Specialist Seattle Rodent Guy operates with the proper licensing and insurance required for wildlife and pest control services in the Seattle area. Our years of experience servicing homes and businesses confirm our established reputation in handling rodent issues effectively. Homeowners can feel secure knowing we meet industry standards for professional work.
Does Puget Sound Rodent Exclusion Specialist Seattle Rodent Guy handle rodent problems in attics, yards, and old buildings?
We conduct thorough property inspections to address rodent issues in attics, yards, and old buildings, spotting entry points like those leading to chewed wiring and insulation damage. Custom exclusion solutions seal these areas to prevent access, whether from nests with baby rats or general yard infestations. This targeted approach covers the specific challenges seen in photos of damaged attics and rodent nests.
What is your typical timeline and scheduling process for rodent inspections and services?
Puget Sound Rodent Exclusion Specialist Seattle Rodent Guy schedules inspections based on availability, which may involve a wait of a few weeks during busy periods, but we always offer to discuss your concerns over the phone right away. Once on site, we dedicate ample time, such as two hours, to inspect thoroughly and explain options. Follow-up services build on this initial assessment for effective results.
What does Puget Sound Rodent Exclusion Specialist Seattle Rodent Guy do for cleanup or after-care following a rodent exclusion service?
We focus on exclusion by sealing entry points during the service, which helps prevent further infestations without trapping rodents inside. After repairs, we provide clear guidance on handling any remaining infestation signs yourself, such as droppings or nests. Properties are left secure and ready for your ongoing maintenance to keep rodents out long-term.
Why is your professional rodent exclusion approach better and safer than trying to do it yourself?
Our method starts with a comprehensive inspection to find all potential entry points that DIY efforts often miss, like hidden gaps around pipes or in foundations. We use the right materials and techniques for lasting seals, avoiding common mistakes that leave homes vulnerable. This professional assessment and execution reduces risks of incomplete work or trapping rodents inside, providing safer, more reliable protection.
