7 years agoOn a regular seasonal service call the technician noticed a leak in our basement that had the potential to short out the electric lines down there. On investigation, we discovered a garbage disposal leak that would have have caused major damage. His alertness saved us money. The new Ruud system we got a year ago is also saving us money over the previous Amana system, and it will have replacement parts more readily available. We would not go anywhere else for honest assessment of our needs and prompt, wonderful service. -

10 years agoI called B&G to see about getting a technician out to fix our A/C. It was 95 degrees outside and I fully expected to be waiting all day. They had a technician there in less than 1 hour. The outside condenser fan was not running. He put in a replacement fan and about 15 min after he left, the system stopped working again. I shut off the system and called B&G to come back out. They promptly had the technician return. The system was acting strange as sometimes the fan worked and other times it did not. Either way the system would only blow cold air for 15-20 min regardless as to if the fan was running or not. The next day the owner came out with another technician to troubleshoot the system. They ended up installing a slightly more powerful fan and after 40 min it seemed to have solved the problem. They did not charge me for either fan upgrade which was nice. I was very impressed with B&G getting to my home so fast on a 95-98 degree day. I was also impressed by their timeliness of their followup visits not to mention having the owner come out himself. The level of service was outstanding -
