3 years agoWe are selling our home and this business was recommended by our Realtor. Excellent service. Our 18 year old carpets now look 5 years old. Very pleased and definitely improved the appearance of our home for showings. -

3 years agoI called "Kelly's" hoping to get my rugs cleaned. The guy who answered "Kelley's" phone said, "I'll call you back within an hour." He never called back. I figure that makes "Kelley's Cleaning & Restoration" unreliable; so I took my business elsewhere. Ted Anderson, Everett, WA -

3 years agoThe best carpet cleaning. Shawn & Ben ran a truck mounted steam cleaner that thoroughly cleaned and extracted dirt from my carpets. They provided a detailed estimate and explained their equipment and process before starting. When they were done the carpets were not as wet as previous cleaners had left them. After drying, the carpets were clean, softer and brighter. Speaking of previous cleaners, the one I used for years retired and I was disappointed by the next two cleaners, who like everyone promises to be the best.... One cleaner used an oxidizer, which reduces the visibility of the dirt, and brushed it to spread and even out the dirt, but didn't extract the dirt, claiming their solution encapsulated the dirt. Although it looked good and there were no visible stains, my carpet was a shade darker. They advertised 100% satisfaction guarantee, but never returned my calls. I ran a Bissell carpet cleaner over a section they had just cleaned and posted pictures showing the dirt I extracted, with a review pointing out they do not extract dirt from the carpets. They didn't post a reply for 3 months, and didn't address the extraction issue. The next cleaner I tried used a high power steam cleaner that left lines in the carpet, perhaps from uneven cleaning. They also left an area rug soaking wet on my wood floor. I called them back, they tried to reclean the carpet, but the lines remained until Kelly's cleaned them. Unfortunately, Kelly's office performance is not top notch. I called twice trying to schedule and they didn't call me back. The crew also came about 40 minutes late and didn't call to let me know they were running late. I hope they can continue to do great cleaning and improve their office performance. I plan to try them again and will see if they improve. -

FAQ
How does Kelley's Cleaning & Restoration determine pricing for carpet cleaning and installation?
We assess pricing based on the scope of work, including room size, carpet condition, and any necessary surface prep or removal of old layers. Custom quotes account for materials like new carpet cuts and fittings to ensure a seamless result. Free estimates are provided to give you a clear upfront cost without surprises.
Are you licensed and insured for carpet and restoration services?
Kelley's Cleaning & Restoration carries the proper licensing and insurance required for carpet contracting, fire damage, water damage, and flooring work. This protects your home from any incidents during installation or restoration. Our coverage extends to the team handling precise prep and fitting tasks.
Does Kelley's Cleaning & Restoration handle water damage restoration and fire damage services along with carpet installation?
We manage water damage by addressing affected carpets and surfaces through drying and restoration processes. Fire damage services include cleanup and floor recovery to refresh impacted areas. Our scope covers full carpet cleaning, precise installations, and related flooring repairs for comprehensive results.
What is the typical timeline for your carpet projects and how do you handle scheduling?
Timelines vary by project size, with smaller jobs completing faster while larger restorations may take several months due to our focused two-person team. We discuss arrival windows and prep needs upfront to set realistic expectations. Delays are minimized by prioritizing detailed planning from removal to final fitting.
How does Kelley's Cleaning & Restoration handle cleanup and debris removal after carpet work?
We remove old carpet layers, debris, and waste from the job site during the process of prepping surfaces and installing new flooring. Your space is left clean, with care taken around furniture and belongings to avoid disruption. Any remaining traces are cleared to ensure floors look sharp upon completion.
Why is your professional approach to carpet installation safer and better than doing it yourself?
Our method involves precise surface prep, cutting, and seamless fitting that prevents common DIY issues like uneven seams or buckling over time. Professionals use specialized tools for safe removal of old layers without damaging subfloors or structures. This hands-on care ensures longevity and avoids hazards like improper adhesive use or ventilation problems.
