6 months agoAfter searching and contacting 4 other hardwood installers, I had almost given up on having my dream floors....Until I found Humberto! My husband and I love the look of white oak herringbone hardwood floors. All of the contractors we spoke with basically said that they would not do these floors in solid hardwood (only engineered) as they are too labor intensive and didn't know where to source the materials. Humberto was finally the first flooring contractor we met with who had a skilled enough team to complete the project, and was knowledgeable and experienced with this type of flooring. In fact, Humberto has experience doing very intricate wood flooring projects in very high-end, custom homes. He also knew of a local distributor who would be able to custom order the wood we needed for our project, at what I would say was very fair pricing considering how labor intensive herringbone install is. The floors are stunning, we are so so happy and would highly recommend Humberto and his team. We redid all the flooring downstairs, 1400 sq ft of it in this beautiful rift and quarter sawn white oak, the rest with tile. They also installed new baseboards and they look great. If you have a complicated project, I would definitely go with Humberto. We plan on using his services again when we redo our staircase and the flooring upstairs. -

The replaced carpeting in our dining/living room and tiles in the family room with white oak to match our existing kitchen flooring. 1 year agoWe recently had the pleasure of working with Dream Hardwood Floors, and we are extremely happy with the results. Humberto and his crew accomplished a job that other companies said was not reasonably possible. We replaced our baseboards with ones that had a smaller profile, which exposed paint with a refinish coating on top from the previous owners. Humberto and his team meticulously hand-scraped and refinished our floors, a section about an inch wide, all along the perimeter of our interior. Humberto was a clear communicator, and they delivered an outstanding result that exceeded our expectations. Additionally, the team refinished a section of our dining room, extending the life of our floors. Humberto's advice was sound, pricing was fair, and we are confident that when we refinish our entire house in the future, we will hire him again without hesitation. We are extremely pleased with their work! -
