12 years agoWe were a little surprised that the contractor asked for payment up front in order to go to Home Depot and buy supplies for our project. Thought the business should have had a buffer of a few hundred dollars to start the project. -

13 years agoHe came to inspect the house, and gave me a followup bid within a few days as he had stated. So many handymen don't even bother responding with a bid, so that was greatly appreciated. He did the work well, without supervision. He made sure all the breakers were correctly labelled. He also made the effort to drive into town to deliver the (needed, but paid) invoice, which was way above his requirements. Truely a superior craftsman and a superior individual. -

13 years agoVery happy with the results. The project started due to a short that happened when changing a light bulb. That led to the odd situation of half the lights on the circuit turning on when the switch was off while the other half worked normally. Dave come out right away after it happened to make sure we were not running a risk for a fire. We appreciated his promptness. When the solution was not apparent after trying several things, we arranged to have Dave re-wire the lights. We took advantage of the situation to add a separate circuit for part of the basement, and also added another light fixture in the bathroom. The work was done professionally and efficiently. Very pleased with the results.
