2 years agoOverall the quality of work turned out nice. However, the experience with DFC Home Improvement was not exceptional. The administration process was messy to say the least. This ranged from permits being disapproved due to submitting incorrect blueprints to the county and long winded conversations with the owner Brian. A word of advice is to screenshot and save all quotes DFC Home Improvements sends out, as I believe they are modified and update previous versions on their site. Ultimately, we were happy with the quality of work. The project was completed in six weeks, when expected to finish in five. The total cost was $45,950 when the quote was for $38,750 about 18.5% over estimate. I have other projects that I wanted to complete in the future, but I think I will find another contractor for those. -

4 years agoDFC is a really solid company who puts quality in all of their work. They really assisted us in a bind because the overhead cabinet started to fall of the wall. Apparently the people who renovated the kitchen during the house flip, they used the incorrect screws. DFC came to our rescue and rehung the cabinet and used the proper screws. My anxiety kicked in and I figured if the house flippers had hung that cabinet with the wrong screw, all of these were probably hung improperly too. I spoke to Brian about a renovation and they worked with us on every detail and aspect of our kitchen. Besides our bathroom, which was renovated in 2019, the kitchen is our favorite room in the house. They installed recessed lighting because the kitchen doesn't get much light because the back of the home faces the woods. This was nice because other contractors refused to installed recessed lighting in popcorn ceilings. They added an additional cabinet and pantry to maximize storage, previously that wall had been empty, which I am not a fan of wasted or empty space. They also made a custom shelf that is just so beautiful, it looks like something out of a magazine. Brian, Lillian, and team truly did a remarkable job in turning our drab and inefficient kitchen into a place anyone would love to cook. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for their overall home renovations. -

4 years agoAll the services was excellent. We really like their communication. They're in constant contact with us. They did a really good job in taking pictures and showing us, we were pretty miles away. They really did well on staying on their timeline. Very nice crew, friendly, polite, they worked really hard. They're people are great to work with. We were really lucky to find them. We are very much satisfied with the services that they did. I would highly recommend them. Actually, we already recommend them to other people. We had them come back for some repairs, we were very pleased with their follow ups.
