1 month agoI purchased a 1/4 cord of firewood on Monday and I asked if the wood was treated and Scott said "yes, you've got some good wood here young lady" which wasn't true at all. My house smells like a bonfire and the wood didn't burn properly. It did a lot of popping and going out and lighting back up on it's on. I reached out and got NO RESPONSE at all! I had to open all the windows and doors and spray everything down this morning. The wood don't even burn right in the firepit. If you buy wood from him please try to burn it before you purchase any! -

It's rare to see the owner of any company on the front lines ensuring the job is done right. He felled four large pines in short order for me, did some trimming around my house, and did a spectacular clean up job. I think when you hire Scott you get more than just an A+ experience. You get a reliable team led by a rockstar that you can rely on for years to come. PS -Scott, tell Jay he did great. The whole team did! 10 months agoScott's crew was on our street doing a big job a few houses away so I approached one of the guys who turned out was Scott himself and asked if he could give me an estimate on having a tree removed. The tree was tall, diseased, and very dead. It was so brittle that every time we had a storm we were picking up branches that had fallen off. Scott and I worked out a price and agreed that they would do the job on Monday which was 3 days away. On Saturday they knocked on my door and asked if they could do the job today since the forecast was calling for rain on Monday and Tuesday. I had no problem with that and within minutes a crew of 4 guys were in my backyard and throwing ropes. One guy carefully went up the tree and in less than an hour the tree was completely down. These guys then cut the tree into smaller pieces and carried them out to the truck in front of my house. Scott's crew was very professional, they were very skilled, and they cleaned up my yard to the point that all I had was a few shavings from the saw that I picked up with my lawnmower. I had a few different tree companies come out and Scott Lanes Tree Service beat them all. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE LOOKING TO HAVE A TREE REMOVED. -

10 months agoThey took down the back fence with care, got the 3 trees down (like 50+ft each) and the 4th trimmed, they cleaned everything up and were very professional and helpful. 2 guys came back the next day to put the back fence back up for us because a support post got taken out to give them access to the trees. They bought some concrete and a new 4x4 and screws to put the fence back in correctly. They were very sweet and helpful, bunch of very talented teddy bears. Would absolutely recommend and hire them again. -
