2 months agoWe had a bit of an emergency in our back yard last week as a windstorm took advantage of a White Pine in our backyard. It was precariously leaning toward our neighbors house. Teacher's was incredibly responsive and took care of the tree almost immediately-and at a very reasonable price. A great service. Highly recommended. -

FAQ
How does Teacher's Tree Service determine pricing for tree services?
We assess the size, condition, and location of your trees during an on-site consultation to provide a custom quote tailored to the job's needs. Factors like tree species such as ash, pine, or maple, and the scope of work including removal or disease management influence the final cost. This approach ensures you receive fair value based on the specific requirements of your property.
Are you licensed and insured for tree work?
Teacher's Tree Service carries the necessary licensing and insurance to protect your property and our team during all tree services. Our arborists perform detailed health assessments and safe executions for tasks like emergency removal and preventive care. Homeowners can proceed with confidence knowing we meet industry standards for professional tree care.
Does Teacher's Tree Service handle emergency tree removal and treatments for ash, pine, and maple trees?
We provide emergency tree removal for situations like wind-damaged white pines leaning toward structures, along with disease management and preventive care for ash, pine, and maple trees. Our arborists conduct thorough consultations to identify issues such as EAB threats and recommend protections like treatments or fertilizers. This specialized scope keeps Vermont properties safe year-round.
What is your typical timeline and scheduling process?
We respond promptly to inquiries and often schedule jobs sooner than initially planned, as shown by arriving a month early for some customers. After your consultation and agreement, we set a specific date and arrive on time with the equipment needed, such as chippers and boom lifts. Expect clear communication about arrival windows to fit your schedule.
How does Teacher's Tree Service handle cleanup and debris after tree work?
We process fallen trees and branches using chippers and mini loaders to create wood chips or haul away debris, leaving your site tidy and well-maintained. Crews clear branches from roadsides and yards, ensuring no mess remains on your property. This thorough cleanup protects your landscape and allows immediate use of the area.
Why is hiring professionals safer and better than attempting DIY tree care?
Our arborists use safety gear for climbing tall trees, chainsaws for precise cutting, and heavy equipment like boom lifts in challenging conditions such as snow, reducing risks of injury or property damage. DIY efforts lack the expertise for assessing tree health, managing diseases, or handling precarious leans, which can lead to accidents or incomplete results. Professional methods ensure trees are properly evaluated and maintained for long-term safety.
