8 months agoThis place is totally unreliable. I called jo ducey around July 9th to repair some electrical issues in Plainfield. July 23rd, no returned phone call, no returned text, no appointment set up. They quote a good hourly work rate but it is irrelevant, since they don't make appointments. -

FAQ
How does Ducey Brothers Electric determine pricing for electrical work?
We assess pricing based on the scope of the project, including factors like materials needed, labor time, and any required troubleshooting or system inspections. Homeowners receive a detailed breakdown after an initial evaluation to ensure transparency. This approach helps cover the full range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services for residential and commercial properties.
Do you offer free estimates for electrical services?
Ducey Brothers Electric provides free estimates to evaluate your electrical needs upfront. We discuss the job details over the phone or in person to give an accurate quote without obligation. This step allows us to identify any potential issues before committing to the work.
Is Ducey Brothers Electric licensed and insured for residential and commercial electrical work?
We hold the necessary licensing and insurance required for safe electrical services in Barre and surrounding areas. Our qualifications ensure compliance with local codes for all installations, maintenance, and repairs. Homeowners can request verification during the initial contact to confirm our professional standing.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for scheduling electrical repairs?
We coordinate schedules based on job urgency and availability, aiming to set firm appointments after initial contact. Expect clear communication about arrival windows, typically within a defined time frame on the scheduled day. Delays are rare, but we notify you promptly if adjustments are needed to minimize inconvenience.
Does Ducey Brothers Electric handle cleanup and debris removal after electrical jobs?
We remove all waste and debris from the work area, leaving your home or business clean and safe. This includes disposing of old wiring, packaging, and any installation remnants properly. Our process ensures no mess is left behind, allowing you to resume normal use immediately.
Why is hiring you for electrical work safer than attempting DIY fixes?
Our professional training and tools allow us to diagnose issues like system failures or faulty wiring accurately, avoiding risks such as shocks or fires common in DIY attempts. We follow electrical safety codes to prevent hazards that untrained efforts often overlook. This expertise ensures long-term reliability for your residential or commercial systems.
