4 months agoTracy came out to my house to check out why my heat was not circulating. He wasted no time troubleshooting the issue and was able to get the needed parts extremely fast. Install was quick and clean, he even took the time to clean up our furnace because it has so much construction debris. I will absolutely use Hansen HVAC in the future. -

4 months agoGreat company! Great people to work with! We had different company install a new furnace a year and a half ago and move our Aprilaire humidifier to the new furnace. The humidifier didn't work and the other company grudgingly returned to make it "work". It ran, but it never brought acceptable humidity levels to our home. Brian, from Hansen HVAC, came a couple of days ago and immediately recognized a wiring problem and knew what to do and spent the time to re-wire the furnace/humidifier connections. Within a day, the humidity level had come up the set level and has continued to be maintained there. Brian really knows what he is doing with HVAC systems and we will be forever grateful for his help and remember him and Hansen HVAC for any future needs! -

4 months agoWe had a heating emergency and were experiencing a second ice age today on the coldest night of the year so far. We called our property management and within 30 minutes Tracy was at our door with a smile and got straight to the problem. He got the issue fixed and double checked everything else to be sure our unit was functioning as optimally as possible. He was friendly, fast, professional and gave us lots of tips to help us save some money in the future. Thanks so much Tracy and Hansen HVAC!

FAQ
How does Hansen HVAC & Plumbing Services, Inc. determine pricing for HVAC repairs and installations?
We provide custom written estimates that break down labor costs, parts, equipment model numbers, and any additional materials needed for your specific job. Our estimates are transparent and itemized so you understand exactly what you're paying for before we begin work. We can also discuss whether your repair or installation qualifies for utility rebates or manufacturer incentives that might reduce your out-of-pocket cost.
Are you licensed, insured, and certified to work on HVAC systems?
Hansen HVAC & Plumbing Services, Inc. maintains the licensing, bonding, and insurance required to perform HVAC work safely and legally in Utah. Our technicians carry EPA 608 certification, which is required nationwide for anyone handling refrigerant. You can request proof of our credentials and insurance coverage before we start any work on your system.
Does Hansen HVAC & Plumbing Services, Inc. handle emergency heating repairs on nights and weekends?
Yes, we understand that heating emergencies often happen during the coldest nights when you need help most. Our team responds quickly to urgent calls and can dispatch a technician to diagnose and repair furnace problems, frozen lines, and other critical heating issues. Contact us directly to discuss your emergency and get a realistic arrival window based on current demand.
What should I expect during the installation or repair process at my home?
Hansen HVAC & Plumbing Services, Inc. takes care to protect your home during all work. Our technicians will use drop cloths and take steps to minimize mess, and we'll walk you through the job scope when we arrive. After installation or repair, we test system performance-including airflow, refrigerant charge, and static pressure-to confirm everything operates correctly before we leave.
How does Hansen HVAC & Plumbing Services, Inc. inspect ductwork and airflow before recommending a new system?
We conduct a thorough evaluation of your entire HVAC system, including ductwork, electrical components, and airflow patterns. This inspection helps us identify leaks, restrictions, or design issues that could reduce efficiency or comfort. We also perform a Manual J load calculation to properly size equipment for your home's specific needs-accounting for insulation, sun exposure, and room-by-room requirements.
Why shouldn't I attempt HVAC repairs myself instead of calling a professional?
HVAC systems involve refrigerant handling, electrical connections, and precise calibration that require specialized training and EPA certification. Improper installation or repair can reduce system efficiency, shorten equipment life, void manufacturer warranties, and create safety hazards. Our technicians follow industry best practices to ensure your system operates safely, efficiently, and within manufacturer specifications-protecting your investment and your home.
