3 months agoI called A-1 garage doors last July and they replaced both of my springs to ensure that they had the longest life possible. The technician installed without putting any grease on because he said that WD40 works better. I trusted his advice. Less than 6 months later one of the springs broke. After requesting that he replace the spring with labor he refused to include the labor because he would not be reimbursed for the labor from the manufacturer. I have been in the home improvement industry for many years and was very disappointed that could not offer at least a 1 year labor warranty to accompany the product warranty as most product installers do. I told him I would pay for labor and materials somewhere else if that is his level of customer service. -

3 months agoDavid from A1 Garage Door Service is and was awesome. I have been using him for years and he always delivers. We had a broken spring and I couldn't get door open/close on its own and without help. David came out and replaced the springs with a pair that opens the door like a charm. David made sure the door worked well and I was happy and even with a few troubles. He did not charge me more than the bid. We had some wood that was warped. He found longer lag bolts and was able to fix it without troubles. David from A1 was fast and knows his work. He also made sure the wheels and track was stable. The door opens/closes really easily now. Above and beyond the call of duty! Thank you David and A1 for coming to my rescue. Today and many more in the future. I definitely recommend A1 Garage Door Service for your garage door needs. They do it all. :) David also shares how to maintain the door to make it last. One of my favorite things about working with him. -
