4 months agoIt started out as what I thought was just a little bit of mold... little did I know what was really going on. Utah Flood Guys came in and helped me understand the situation and took care of everything from start to finish. The whole process felt way less overwhelming because of them. I especially want to shout out Aylin, the office assistant. She was there for me through it all - answering questions, following up, and just being super reassuring when things felt stressful. She truly made a difference and kept everything moving smoothly. Honestly, they rescued me. I would 100% work with this company again and recommend them to anyone dealing with water or mold issues. -

4 months agohad an amazing experience with this flood and mold company, and a big reason why was their receptionist, Aylin. From the very first call, she was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful during what felt like a stressful and overwhelming situation. She got someone out to my house quickly, kept me updated every step of the way, and made sure I always knew what was happening. Most importantly, she really listened and made me feel heard, which meant a lot when dealing with something as serious as mold. The team solved my mold problem efficiently, and the whole process felt smooth thanks to Aylin's communication and support. Excellent customer service, sHighly recommend! -

4 months agoI've been driving truck a long time, and I can tell when a crew knows what they're doing. These guys came in and took care of the mold problem without any nonsense. Showed up when they said they would, told me straight what needed done, and got after it. No fancy talk, just hard work. They kept the place as clean as you can during a job like that and didn't leave a mess behind. When they finished up, the basement smelled fresh and I felt a whole lot better about it. The project manager Spencer exceeded my expectations. Solid outfit. I'd call them again. -

FAQ
How does Utah Flood Guys determine pricing for water damage restoration?
We provide free estimates for all water damage projects, so you understand costs upfront before any work begins. Our pricing is based on the scope of damage, the square footage affected, and the specific restoration work needed. We work directly with your insurance company to handle billing, which simplifies the process and helps reduce out-of-pocket expenses. During our initial walkthrough, we assess the damage using IICRC standards to create an accurate protocol and quote.
Are you licensed and insured for water damage work?
Utah Flood Guys holds a B100 general contractor license and maintains IICRC certification, which demonstrates our team's training in water damage restoration best practices. We carry full insurance coverage for our work, protecting both your property and our crew during the restoration process. These credentials ensure that your home is handled by qualified professionals who follow industry standards and can be held accountable for quality workmanship.
What types of damage does Utah Flood Guys handle beyond water damage?
We specialize in water damage restoration, but our expertise extends to fire damage cleanup and mold remediation as well. Whether your home has suffered from flooding, burst pipes, leaks, fire damage, or mold growth, our team is equipped to address the full scope of disaster recovery. This comprehensive service approach means you can work with one trusted company for multiple restoration needs rather than coordinating with several contractors.
How quickly can you respond to an emergency water damage situation?
Utah Flood Guys operates 24/7 for emergency response, so we can dispatch a team to your property any time of day or night. When water damage occurs, immediate action is critical to minimize structural damage and prevent mold growth, which is why our rapid response is essential. We understand that disasters don't happen during business hours, and we're committed to being available when you need us most, often arriving the same day of your call.
What does Utah Flood Guys do with debris and damaged materials after restoration?
We handle all debris removal and disposal as part of our restoration process, so you don't have to manage the cleanup yourself. Our team properly removes water-damaged materials, flooring, drywall, and other affected items according to safety and environmental standards. We leave your home clean and ready for reconstruction or repairs, with all containment and protective barriers removed once the drying and mitigation work is complete.
Why is professional water damage restoration better than handling it yourself?
Professional restoration uses specialized equipment like industrial air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture detection tools that extract water and dry affected areas far more effectively than DIY methods. Our team follows IICRC standards and industry protocols to prevent hidden moisture, structural damage, and mold growth that often result from incomplete drying. Attempting water damage restoration without proper equipment and expertise can lead to costly long-term problems, whereas professional mitigation stops damage progression immediately and protects your home's integrity.
