I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. The representative I spoke with was unhelpful, dismissive, and lacked basic knowledge about the product/service. My concerns were not addressed. I strongly urge management to review their training and customer service protocols to prevent similar experiences for other customers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY.

Walked in to a "What do you want, and why are you bothering me?" attitude individual in the office. Annoyed I was even walking in to give them business. I asked for a part. They had it. It was 300% more than online and I asked why, as I was handing him my card to pay, just wondering why. The individual got defensive and said, "You know what? Go somewhere else and get your part, I don't want to sell to you anyway". Not sure if this person is just having an off day, or what, but I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I would recommend any others to do the same.

They installed a hvac system in a new house. The first season of use it couldn't handle temperatures over 85, they offered an "upgrade " for $500 so i did it, they came out and put the BARE MINIMUM size of pump in so now at least it can handle temperatures about 93-95 anything above those temperatures the best it can do is 77-79 degrees in the house and will run all day trying to keep it there. The house is about 3 years old and the ac has been piss poor! Had it evaluated by a few third parties and they all said its just a badly designed system

Yesterday I was cut off and almost ran off the road by a Bergmann heating & air van. They just happened to be getting off the same exit that I was so when I pulled into the Maverick gas station I was appalled to see them pulling into the liquor store, the driver jumped out of the van stumbling into the store then they left once his purchase was done!!! It was only about 4 pm so they were definitely still on the clock on business hours! I only hope they weren't drinking while driving but judging by the way he was driving I'm pretty sure they were. I called the number on the van and was rudely told that "he would take care of it", I didn't need to do anything else. That didn't sit well with me last night so I wanted to get on here and warn their customers that you might not want so called trusted professionals drinking while working in your home on ANYTHING, let alone something that could potentially be fatal if mistakes are made.

Id give negative if i could. I just recently moved into a apartment after living in a rv for a year, we've been having problems with the heater and thermostat. There labels are placed all over the heater so I called them to see if they can help and the guy on the phone was extremely rude, also found that there website lies as it says free consultation but the guy wanted to charge me $70 to send someone. There's a flashing light and the landlords said that the filter was changed..

FAQ

How does Bergmann Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC determine pricing for HVAC repairs and installations?

We assess your HVAC system's condition, age, and specific issues to provide a custom quote after inspection. For example, topping off coolant in an air conditioner can cost around $200 instead of thousands for a full replacement. Free estimates are available on all heating and air conditioning services to help you understand costs upfront.

Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?

Bergmann Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC technicians are NATE-certified, ensuring they meet industry standards for training and expertise in air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and geothermal systems. We carry proper licensing as gasfitters, HVAC contractors, and plumbers to handle residential and commercial jobs safely. Homeowners can verify our credentials through state contractor resources for added peace of mind.

Does Bergmann Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC handle maintenance like cleaning dirty air filters, coils, and blower fans?

We perform thorough HVAC maintenance, including cleaning dirty air filters, coils, and blower fan blades to restore efficiency and prevent breakdowns. Regular tune-ups on rooftop condensers and systems like Honeywell thermostats keep your heating and cooling running smoothly year-round. This service covers air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and geothermal setups for homes and businesses.

What should I expect for scheduling and arrival times with you?

We offer prompt scheduling, often with same-day service for urgent issues like a failing compressor or furnace. Technicians arrive within agreed windows, such as the next morning after an evening call, and complete installations like full AC replacements in one to two days. Emergency service is available 24/7 to minimize downtime in Utah County.

Does Bergmann Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC clean up after HVAC repairs or installations?

We leave your home clean and tidy, removing all debris, old parts, and waste from repairs, maintenance, or full system replacements. Technicians handle everything from dirty filters to condenser units without disrupting your space. This ensures your property is ready for immediate use after we finish.

Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting HVAC repairs as a DIY project?

Professional tools and NATE-certified training allow us to diagnose issues accurately, like low coolant versus a failed compressor, avoiding costly mistakes or safety hazards. DIY attempts on gas furnaces, heat pumps, or electrical components risk carbon monoxide leaks, shocks, or voided warranties. Our hands-on experience since 1968 ensures repairs and installations meet code, extending system life and efficiency.
