2 years agoBought flooring materials in end of 2021! spend 40000$ for materials and labor and within 2 years they flooring started to wear off , cracked and fading! very Bad Quality they sells ! they will give you 30 years warranty but when you claim they blame it's installation problem. they refuse to replace and refund! very rude corporate customer service ( Heather) ! Am taking them in court. I highly recommend to go with reputable companies like home depot and lowe's ! -

2 years agoWe bought our floor two years ago and we were thrilled with the way it looked. I was not home when they installed. My wife was but was busy with other things. After awhile we noticed a portion of the floor in a small hallway near bathroom was buckling. It kept getting worse so I called the store and Nick said he would send an installer out to check floor. Again, I wasn't home. He called me and told me that I had serious substrate issues made worse by the fact that I have a pier and beam foundation. I informed him that I do not have a pier and beam foundation and he kept insisting that I do and that I need to hire a professional to repair substrate before floor could be installed. I found out from my wife that he never pulled a plank up to look. He just ran his hand under it. I asked him why he installed the floor if there was damage hi and he said the floor was fine when it was installed. I brought in another company along with an engineer who found first of all that my foundation is a concret slab with stringers for a hardwood floor. Secondly, all the sub floor and stringers were completely rotted and black, and wet. They found a leak in adjacent bathroom wall. The technician told me that there was no possible way the floor decayed and rotted that much in two years. I'm not blaming L&L for the substrate damage or the leak. I am extremely angry that the installer knowingly installed the floor anyway. He took advantage of the fact that my wife was the only one home and cut corners. There is no excuse for that. The company I brought in did all the repairs, fixed the leak and replaced the broken planks all in one day at a fair price. I will never recommend your company to anyone. As a side note, the salespeople Nick and Justin were outstanding professionals. It's sad their installers don't meet the same high standards

FAQ
How does LL Flooring determine pricing for carpet installation?
We base pricing on the square footage of the area, the type of carpet selected, and any additional factors like stairs or patterns that require more cuts and seams. Custom quotes come after measuring the space to ensure accuracy for your specific project. This approach accounts for materials, labor, and removal of old flooring if needed.
Do you offer free estimates for carpet installation?
LL Flooring provides free estimates to help you understand costs upfront without commitment. Our team visits the site to measure precisely and discuss options like carpet types and installation methods. This allows you to plan effectively based on your space and budget.
Does LL Flooring handle old carpet removal and subfloor preparation?
We remove old carpet and underlayment to prepare the subfloor properly for new installation. Our crew clears debris and ensures the surface is ready, which helps the new carpet lay flat and last longer. Photos from our San Antonio projects show this process in action during typical jobs.
What is your typical timeline for a carpet installation job?
We complete most residential carpet installations in one day, depending on the size and complexity of the space. Our crew arrives during the scheduled window and works efficiently from removal through final trimming. This minimizes disruption to your home or office routine.
What does LL Flooring do with debris and waste after carpet installation?
We ensure every job ends with a clean site by removing all old flooring, debris, and excess materials. Our team hauls away waste responsibly so you can enjoy your new floors immediately without cleanup on your end. This leaves your home or office tidy and ready for use.
Why is professional carpet installation safer and better than DIY?
Our method uses precise measuring, cutting, power stretching, and seam securing to prevent wrinkles, gaps, and early wear that often occur with DIY attempts. We prep subfloors properly and handle heavy tools safely, avoiding injuries or damage to your home. Years of local experience ensure floors hold up over time, unlike amateur installs that may void warranties or fail quickly.
