1 month agoI can't say enough good things about Community Mechanical. From the person who scheduled my appointment, to the technician, Paul, who worked on my unit - my experience was top notch! Paul was outstanding! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and walked me through each step as he problem solved to get my unit up and running again. I highly recommend this company and I highly recommend asking for Paul!! Very impressed! -

1 month agoWe have a commercial HVAC unit that has been giving us problems for some time. Tripping breakers, not doing what it's supposed to. 3 different companies have come out to assess, everybody says "it's fine". And yet, it keeps breaking. Heard about Travis and Community Mechanical listening to the dumb zone, figured I'd give them a call. Not only did they show up same day, they identified the problem immediately: the unit wasn't getting enough power. So they brought in their bud and master electrician Will from simplified technology to re-run the wiring to the roof. Then they fixed the unit and didn't charge me an arm and a leg for it. These guys aren't just good at what they do (and they're great at that), they're great people. Give them a call. -

2 months agoPaul has serviced our system a couple times now and he is friendly and this company has always done a great job. They installed our system back in 2014 when they were C&D and continued through Nopps and now Community. Very trustworthy. -

2 months agoWe started using this company when Danny Nopp owned it. We were a little worried when it changed hands but we have continued to receive wonderful service with them. Always so nice and do whatever they can to make it as affordable as possible for us.

FAQ
Does Community Mechanical offer free estimates for HVAC services in Plano, TX?
We provide free estimates to assess your HVAC needs upfront. Pricing depends on factors like the scope of work, parts required, and system complexity after our technician inspects your unit. This approach ensures you receive an accurate quote without surprises.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Community Mechanical carries full licensing, bonding, and insurance to meet all state and local requirements for HVAC services. Our technicians also hold EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants safely. These credentials protect your property and ensure compliance during repairs or installations.
Does Community Mechanical handle mini-split installations and commercial HVAC servicing?
We install systems like Mitsubishi mini-splits for residential homes and service large commercial rooftop units. Our team works on both outdoor units at homes and rooftop systems for businesses in Plano, TX. This covers a range of heating and cooling needs from seasonal tune-ups to full replacements.
What should I expect for arrival times and scheduling with you?
We arrive on time for scheduled appointments, with clear windows communicated in advance to fit your day. Technicians show up ready with the right tools for HVAC tune-ups or repairs. For urgent issues, we prioritize local Plano jobs to minimize downtime.
Does Community Mechanical clean up after HVAC service in my home or attic?
We leave your home as clean as we found it, using drop cloths and removing all debris from attics, rooftops, or job sites. Technicians haul away old parts and waste from repairs or installations. This keeps your space tidy after getting your heating or cooling system running smoothly.
Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting HVAC repairs myself?
Our professional approach includes thorough inspections to diagnose recurrent issues that DIY fixes often miss, preventing repeated failures. Technicians follow industry standards for refrigerant handling, electrical checks, and airflow testing to avoid hazards like leaks or system damage. This ensures long-term efficiency and safety without the risks of improper tools or knowledge.
