5 months agoDaniel Dean and his crew did an amazing job with pond vegetation removal on my Lake Conroe property! They were recommended by a friend in Magnolia who had them do work last month, and now I know why they're so highly recommended. The whole crew was incredibly professional throughout the entire process. Daniel walked me through everything they would do and showed me all their equipment before starting. You could tell they really understood what they were doing and genuinely cared about doing quality work. They handled the aquatic weed control perfectly and left my pond looking great. Communication was excellent and they were very knowledgeable about pond maintenance in our area. I'll definitely be recommending Daniel and his team to anyone in the Lake Conroe or Montgomery County area who needs pond vegetation removal. Professional service from start to finish! -

1 year agoDaniel and his sons just finished a fantastic job on my rural property that included clearing 3 acres, home pad construction, approx 500' of road and driveway , and to top it off grass seeding! He and his team were a joy to work with and made sure we were happy with the finished project before they left. Daniel Dean has great equipment, great attitude, and great customer service. You can't go wrong choosing Daniel Dean Land Clearing and Dirt Work! -

1 year agoDaniel came by to evaluate my soil erosion problem. Instead of doing expensive repairs he suggested remedy that would work out better. He also impressed me and quickly saw the other drainage problems I was having in my yard and suggested practical solutions. Upfront and helpful even if that means his business doesn't profit from it. -

1 year agoWon't return calls. We tried so hard to give this company a chance to do some work on our acreage and then he just would not respond. We have left voicemails and sent texts and he just ghosted us. If he didn't want to do the work, that's all he had to say. -

2 years agoDaniel Dean is honest and straightforward. We had him out to get a quote for a French Drain and he recommended a much less expensive solution to our drainage issues. Highly recommended.

FAQ
How does Daniel Dean Land Clearing & Dirt Work determine pricing for land clearing and dirt work projects?
We determine pricing based on the size of the area, amount of vegetation or debris to remove, soil conditions, and specific tasks like excavation or drainage installation. Daniel Dean visits the site first to assess these factors and provide a custom quote that outlines labor, equipment, and any additional needs. This approach ensures you get an accurate estimate without hidden fees, tailored to make your rural property usable.
Are you licensed and insured for demolition, excavation, and general contracting work?
Daniel Dean Land Clearing & Dirt Work holds the proper licensing as a demolition contractor, excavation contractor, general contractor, and land clearing service provider. We carry full insurance to protect against any property damage or injuries during projects. Homeowners can request proof of these credentials during the initial site evaluation for complete peace of mind.
Does Daniel Dean Land Clearing & Dirt Work handle pond vegetation removal, home pad construction, and erosion control?
We handle pond vegetation removal to make water areas mosquito-free, home pad construction for building foundations, and erosion control using methods like matting in drainage ditches. Our services also cover driveways, roads, and grass seeding on rural properties around Houston. These tasks use excavators, skid steers, and other equipment shown in our project photos to prepare land effectively.
What is the typical timeline and scheduling process for your dirt work and drainage projects?
We start with a site visit to evaluate the project scope, then schedule work based on your availability and weather conditions in Texas. Most jobs like clearing acres or installing drainage complete within days once started, with clear communication on arrival windows and any adjustments. This keeps rural property transformations on track without unnecessary delays.
What cleanup and debris removal does Daniel Dean Land Clearing & Dirt Work provide after land clearing?
We remove trees, brush, stumps, and other debris from the site, hauling it away or managing it appropriately to leave your property clean and graded. For erosion control projects, we install matting and seed grass to stabilize the soil right after clearing. Your land ends up ready for the next use, whether building a home pad or driveway, with no mess left behind.
Why is hiring you for land clearing safer and more effective than attempting DIY on rural properties?
Professional land clearing uses heavy equipment like excavators and skid steers operated by experienced crews, avoiding the dangers of chainsaws or machinery mishandling that DIYers face. We spot cost-effective solutions, such as simpler drainage fixes over expensive ones, and handle site-specific challenges like poor drainage or erosion that require expertise. This ensures usable, stable land that withstands Texas weather, without risks to you or environmental harm from improper methods.
