1 month agoVal installed stainless steel chase caps and chimney tops on two separate chimneys at our home during the same visit. Overall we are very pleased with the upgrade. The stainless steel components are a big improvement over what we had before and should provide long term protection for the chimneys. Val is knowledgeable about chimney systems and was willing to explain the work and answer our questions. We appreciated that he took the time to make sure the main components were properly installed and secured. 1 month agoI had a chimney cap and Chase pan blown off my chimney top from a 60 mile an hour wind over a week ago. Lone Star Chimney sent Edgar and his partner to inspect it. This house is 40 years old and Edgar showed me that it could not be restored due to the severe rust. Chimney top was covered with a tarp while waiting for the custom-made pan to be manufactured.They returned with the new cap and pan. They restored the loose bricks and installed both items with a seal and screwed it to the chimney and was secured with screws and anchors. Edgar was highly professional, extremely courteous and explained everything in great details. I couldn't ask for anything better; exceptional job, well done. He sent me pictures of the finished job, my wife and I thank him very much. -
