2 weeks agoI'm really happy with the service. For a long time, our A/C unit would break down a couple times each summer. We had other contractors do repairs, but then the A/C would break down a few weeks afterwards, every time. We were ready to call an exorcist, but we called Mike instead. He was on time, and after he diagnosed the main issue, he identified the root cause that the other techs had missed. He went to buy a specialized replacement part, and returned that same day to complete the repair. There've been no problems since. Our A/C has been consistently reliable and efficient. -

1 month agoMy HVAC stopped blowing cold air and kept tripping, and I found out the compressor needed to be replaced. Since it was a weekend, I called many contractors with not much hope but, Mike promptly responded to me. He explained the issue clearly and gave me a quote. The price was great and all his reviews were 5-star, so I decided to go with him. Mike showed up quickly and did a very thorough diagnosis. Unlike others who only checked with meters, he took the time to look at everything and even found a faulty capacitor. Because it was allergy season and I couldn't keep the windows open for long, I asked if he could fix it as soon as possible. He got the parts (which is available only on weekdays) and came back early Monday morning to get everything taken care of. Mike is a thorough professional, reliable, and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Mike and Bree HVAC to anyone needing HVAC help. He even gives valuable tips on how to maintain your HVAC! -

Does Bree HVAC Contractor offer free estimates or how is pricing determined?
We provide detailed quotes after a thorough on-site evaluation to ensure accurate pricing based on your specific HVAC needs, such as compressor diagnosis or system replacement. These quotes cover labor, parts, and any necessary steps from assessment to completion, with no hidden fees. Homeowners can expect transparent communication throughout the quoting process to understand exactly what they're paying for.
Are you licensed and insured?
Bree HVAC Contractor carries all required licensing and insurance to handle HVAC services safely and professionally in Cedar Park, TX. We maintain general liability and workers' compensation coverage to protect your property and our team during repairs or installations. Proof of these credentials is available upon request before any work begins.
Does Bree HVAC Contractor handle compressor failures and AC system replacements?
We specialize in diagnosing tricky compressor failures using tools like multimeters on outdoor AC units and provide second opinions to confirm issues accurately. Our team replaces aging AC systems carefully, ensuring proper installation for brands like Trane while inspecting related components such as furnaces and air handlers. This thorough approach addresses specific problems without rushing, getting your system running efficiently.
What is your typical timeline and scheduling process?
We offer flexible scheduling, including weekends, with prompt responses to get you on the calendar quickly after your call. Service calls for diagnosis or second opinions usually happen within the agreed arrival window, and larger jobs like AC replacements follow a clear timeline from quote to completion. Expect open communication at every step so you know when to anticipate our arrival and how long the work will take.
Does Bree HVAC Contractor clean up after the job and handle old equipment disposal?

Old AC units or replaced components are disposed of responsibly according to local regulations. Why is hiring you better than attempting HVAC repairs as a DIY project?
Our meticulous diagnostic process uncovers hidden issues like compressor failures that DIY methods often miss, preventing further damage or inefficient fixes. We follow precise procedures for safe refrigerant handling, electrical checks, and system charging, which require specialized tools and training to avoid risks like injury or voided warranties. Professional service ensures long-term performance and compliance with codes, saving you time and potential costly mistakes.
