3 years agoI have to give Patrick a big thank you. He has gone above and beyond for me. We manage a condominium that has four mini-splits that we wanted serviced and cleaned. I spoke with Patrick yesterday and he called me back today after conducting an inspection. Patrick gave me his honest opinion which turned out to be different that what we expected, but could potentially save us money. I highly recommend Patrick - he is an expert, he responds quickly, and he is honest - he won't tell you that you need more work performed than what is necessary. Thank you, Patrick! -

6 years agoI met with this firm in examining a high-rise system for an hour or so, and they provided a professional informed opinion on the chilled water system. Brandon Clark, their account executive, demonstrated a deep expertise in the systems. I would certainly consider working with this company on larger commercial project.

FAQ
Does Energy Logix offer free estimates for HVAC services?
We provide detailed written estimates after evaluating your HVAC system needs, such as mini-split servicing or commercial evaluations. These estimates outline labor, parts, and scope to help you understand costs upfront without any charge for the initial assessment. This approach ensures transparency so you can plan accordingly.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Energy Logix carries the necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance required for HVAC contracting in Austin, including coverage for general liability and workers' compensation. Our team also holds EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants safely. This protects both your property and our technicians during jobs like system cleaning or rooftop unit maintenance.
Does Energy Logix service mini-splits and perform commercial HVAC evaluations?
We handle mini-split servicing and cleaning, as well as comprehensive commercial evaluations for systems like high-rise chilled water setups and rooftop units. Our technicians use gauges, tools, and ladders to perform maintenance on overhead and large-scale units. This expertise covers residential and commercial needs from our Burleson Road location in Austin.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for HVAC jobs?
We schedule jobs with clear arrival windows, typically within a 2-hour block, and communicate any delays promptly. Timelines vary by scope-for instance, mini-split servicing might take a few hours, while commercial evaluations or installations span 1-2 days including prep. We set expectations upfront during booking to fit your schedule.
Does Energy Logix clean up after HVAC maintenance or installation?
We always leave your property clean by using drop cloths, shoe covers, and removing all debris, tools, and waste from jobs like system cleaning or unit installations. Technicians dispose of old parts and materials responsibly per local regulations. This ensures your home or commercial space is returned to its original condition.
Why is your professional HVAC approach safer and better than DIY?
Our hands-on expertise prevents risks like improper refrigerant handling, which requires EPA certification and can lead to health hazards or system damage if done incorrectly. We follow industry standards for evaluations, sizing, and maintenance to ensure efficiency and longevity, avoiding common DIY errors such as poor airflow or electrical issues. Professional tools and thorough inspections catch problems early, saving you from costly repairs down the line.
