3 months agoWe recently hired them to build a screened in deck with a new gabled roof and gutters. The roof and gutters work went off without a hitch. The deck itself was sturdy and well-built with the exception of a few important issues. One handrail had a key angle cut improperly which was then shimmed instead of being replaced/repaired. We also had a buried corrugated drain line that was tied into for the new gutters--when pouring the footers for the deck, concrete made it's way into the drain and fully blocked it. Some of the subcontractors are also prone to leaving messes like concrete spillage, cigarette butts, etc., so expect some clean up after the job. Getting these issues addressed under the 2 year warranty took several months of phone tag. Part of that was due to my work schedule and part of it was due to how hard it is to get in touch with the company. Apart from the initial sales contact, emails and calls/voicemails to the office line went totally unanswered. The only way I found to coordinate with them was through Chase, so be sure to get his number. He typically gets back to you in 1-2 days. Overall, the end product was reasonably priced and the quality was acceptable once the issues mentioned above were remedied. If you plan to work with them, I would recommend checking their progress periodically so you catch this stuff during the build and not after. That's not typically how I like to operate, but it's preferable to the struggle of getting them back out to fix anything. -
