3 years agoThis technician was called because, I don't have time with my working hours, I have 30 years exp. in Industrial Maintenance, including HVAC and Ammonia Cooling. He decided I have to repair all the duct work in my house, and the office sent me an 1125 dollar estimate, I had a few hours today to check the system, I hooked up the gauges (Freon Level was fine) and found the safety cap on the return line broken, so I doubt they checked it. I bet they can't even tell me what the measurement was. I then started inspecting the air handler, there is no way the technician checked the inlet side, as the mastic was still covering the screws. The Fan coil was completely clogged with dog hair, on the inlet side. wow trouble-shooting skills. A simple check that was never done. They charge 100 for the service call and did nothing. Except try to take advantage of us. I cleaned the Fan Coil and Viola!, AC. 1/2 an hour. Thanks for nothing. -
