8 months agoI would not recommend using Rogers Development to build your house. Our experience was marked by inaccurate pre-build cost estimates, poor communication, subpar work by a few subcontractors, failure to maintain adequate security at the job site, inattentive billing practices and failure to stand behind the final product. The subcontractors which did a good job were the finish carpenter, flooring installer, and HVAC contractor. To name just a few concerns.... They had not anticipated what the lot preparation would entail and the original estimate for grading, excavation and backfill was $10,000. The final charge for that was over $37,000 with the explanation that there were "more rocks" than expected. Another estimated charge prior to building was $3,000 for "final grading" but in the end was over $19,000 with no explanation provided. Dozens of plumbing and lighting fixtures were stolen when left unattended in the unlocked garage. There was a bill of over $3,000 for "clean up" the end result was piles of construction debris and fast food containers strewn across the lot and left under the decking when we moved in. There was a new garbage disposal in the original box lying in a ditch beside the house. 17 months after we moved in, Rogers Development presented us with a bill of over $16,000 which they had inadvertently forgotten to send to us. This was all a disappointing, costly and frustrating experience to the point that I could not recommend Rogers Development to build a new house. -

6 years agoOur dream home is being built by Rogers Development. It has been an easy, straightforward project. They let us know when and where to make selections so everything arrives at the perfect time to keep the project on track. The estimate is line by line so you can see exactly what to expect and how to keep in your budget on selections. The job site is always clean and well kept. Everyone from the office staff to the sub contractors on the job site have been very professional and easy to work with from the very beginning. The owners have been great to met with us and help us picture what it will look when we have hard time visualizing it. The house lays perfectly on the lot, and we are so happy to have our dream home built by Rogers Development. We never plan to move, but if we do, we will hire Rogers Development. -
