12 years ago. Everything went smooth as silk. Service Master was recommended to us by our insurance agent so I called them. They were at our home in less than an hour and got everything under control and back to normal within a fee days. The crew was hard working, respectful, and very professional. They replaced the kitchen floor and the living room carpet. We are very happy with there service and would highly recommend them. -

12 years agoThey arrived promptly after calling the office. A pipe had broke in the wall and the bedroom carpet was wet to the doorway and out the hall a bit. They asked if it was being turned it into home owners insurance, we said "no". They said they would "try to keep the cost down" and we thanked them. After moving the furniture to one side of the room,they tore out my carpet in the closet area and partially extracted the water from the bedroom and hallway carpet. They failed to extract the water from the area where they put the furniture and the carpet now has an orange stain in it that most likely will not come out. Needless to say it was not "like it never happened". They left the fans running for 2 days which was very annoying, and they would have had to be there for 2 weeks for any chance of drying the water up, at over $100 a day. So for one small bedroom to be partially "restored" I was charged $1385.00!!!!! Unbelievable! I could have had my normal carpet cleaner do the same job better for 1/3 (a quote for him) of the cost of Servicemaster. UPDATE... We have torn up all the carpet and pad, the under flooring was totally soaking wet. This job was done at my mother in laws residence in Aberdeen WA, therefore the confusion about who the service was provided to. Her name is Pat Grahn and I did the review at her request due to the fact she has no computer. The response by the owner is understandable but inaccurate. At this time the service provider is working with my mother in law to resolve the matter. But the service review is accurate and we can providing photos to show the damage left. "Restoring peace of mind" did not happen at the time of service! Perhaps it will happen at some point, but not at this time. -
