1 year agoDaniel Crawford has helped me with electrical issues around our home for the last three or four years. Whether it was adding a circuit breaker for a new appliance, checking a receptacle, or simply changing smoke detector batteries, the service we received was always great! Anytime I call Daniel I know for sure that he will help me take care of the issue. He is very knowledgeable, patient, always professional , and will get someone out as soon as possible. Jay is the technician that usually takes care of our issues and always makes sure the issue is resolved. Recently, after the hurricane, I called Daniel to ask him a couple of questions about our electrical panel as related to our generator. As always, he was more than willing to answer my questions and told me exactly what he can do to help me make sure everything runs smoothly during any kind of power outage. I highly recommend Daniel Crawford Electric to anyone. He is professional, dependable, and for sure cares about his customers. -

1 year agoI do not take leaving negative reviews lightly, and would prefer not to do so, but in this case unfortunately I feel it was justifed. The original job was to add 2 circuits, connect heated floor system, and install 2 heated vent lamps in a bathroom during a remodel. The heating aspect of the vent system was removed so one circuit was deleted as unneeded, but I did request 1 simple outlet move as well as 1 simple light switch move neither of which required more than 30 minutes due to this being a remodel and the sheet rock having been removed. One small vent fan was moved about 14 inches at my request also. Retrofitting a standard switch to a 3 way was also requested. this required about a 15 foot run, and increasing a 2 gang to a 3 gang box. The circuit that was deleted was a going to have be a wall fish, then through a floored attic space so a lot of material and time was deleted (about50-65ft). The vent/lights were able to use the existing wiring from the previous lights. However the wiring was done incorrectly and I had to fix myself as well secure the vent boxes better than the ONE screw they installed with leaving the boxes hanging down through the ceiling. The panel box covers were put back on the wrong panels(this was corrected the next day by the tech), and none of the trash/waste was removed Quote was increased by 60% even though the amount of time, and materials were less than what it would have been with the added circuit. Business owner "discounted" the bill but still ended up charging me 33% more than the original quote while doing less work, and more importantly subpar work. Even though there is finish work left to be done, I will not have this company come back to my home ever again. -

2 years agoWe had an issue with an overloaded circuit: use of the microwave while my wife was blow drying her hair tripped the breaker. They were able to install 2 new circuits and solve this. Jay and Shane did a very neat job. I was impressed that Mr. Crawford didn't try to sell us more work than we needed. -
