1 year agoVon and the crew (Alex, Mobley, and Billy) were pleasant to have in our home, gave me great advice and performed the extensive work I needed done while helping us maintain electricity to the things we need to keep a fairly normal life. I'd recommend them to anyone. In short- great planning, great installation work and the crew had a great esprit de cours Thanks Von and the good folks at Polk Electric. -

1 year agoLeaving 3 stars because they did good work in one of the worst times with a tree falling on our house because of the hurricane but it's just kind of disappointing that I had a trashcan right there beside where they were working and they just left their trash on the side of the house. It's not much just some boxes, tape and cut black and white wires and little manual that comes with box they installed. I know our place looks a bit of a mess cause of the storm but just kind of disappointing to have to clean up after them. They also ripped the fence off the house without saying anything to me. Which i'm to be understanding of it all if it was in the way just it would of been nice to at least tell me that too when I spoke to them. Maybe I'm nitpicking about something small but I don't need more wires and trash to clean up than what we already got from this storm -

1 year agoI wish I could give them a rating better than 5 !! The father and son did some commercial property work for us this past Easter Weekend. Half of our shopping center was without power. Bobby and his father gave up their Easter Sunday , working hard to get our power back on by 8:30 pm Sunday night !!!! Words can't express their efforts and concerns for us and the tenants impacted. I highly recommend this business.

FAQ
How does Polk Electric, LLC determine pricing for electrical services?
We assess pricing based on the scope of work, materials required, and time needed to complete the job safely and correctly. Homeowners receive a detailed quote after we evaluate the specific electrical needs, such as wiring repairs or panel testing. This approach ensures transparency so you understand the costs upfront before any work begins.
Are you licensed and insured for electrical work?
Polk Electric, LLC holds the necessary licensing and insurance to perform electrical services in Rock Hill, SC. Our team follows local regulations to ensure all installations and repairs meet safety standards. This protects both your home and our technicians during every project.
Does Polk Electric, LLC handle tasks like electrical panel testing, recessed lighting installation, and wiring repairs?
We manage a full range of electrical tasks, including testing electrical panels with multimeters, installing recessed lighting, operating outdoor junction boxes, and repairing wiring in ceilings and walls. Our crew performs these services while maintaining power to essential areas when possible. This hands-on expertise covers extensive home wiring and inspections to keep everything functioning smoothly.
What should I expect for timelines and arrival with you?
We stick to the agreed schedule, completing jobs on time even in challenging conditions like rain, and coordinate with inspectors and the power company as needed. Arrival windows are communicated clearly, with our team showing up promptly to start work. If any mix-ups occur, we resolve them quickly to reschedule without delay.
How does Polk Electric, LLC handle cleanup and after-care after electrical jobs?
We leave your home clean and tidy, removing any debris from wiring work, panel testing, or installations. Our follow-through includes checking that all systems operate correctly before we leave. This ensures your space is ready for immediate use with no lingering mess or issues.
Why is your professional approach safer than attempting DIY electrical work?
Our team uses proper tools and techniques, like multimeters for testing and safe power management, to avoid hazards such as shocks or fires that DIY often risks. We coordinate utilities and inspections to comply with codes, preventing costly errors or dangers from improper wiring. Professionals spot issues early, maintaining reliable power without endangering your home or family.
