1 month agoThis is an updated review. We wanted to revamp our review after the owner of the company reached out and satisfied the issue that we had. I would like to compliment Charleston Roof & Windows for its installation crew and sales crew. They are outstanding. Grady and his crew arrived on time were incredibly clean and took care of our property as if it was their own. We have a relatively small home on Folly Beach and therefore had to either buy impact windows or the storm windows that didn't require any shutters. After much thought and What is that? we went with the storm breaker insulated windows. For anyone that has a home on stilts or has a second story where you may have to install storm shutters. This by far is the best option in both money time and energy that you could possibly invest in the difference in price was negligible and at 61 years old, our thought process one fall off a ladder trying to install plywood would seem very expensive compared to what we could've spent to just put the storm breakers in the first Time once Grady and his crew finished they explained to us how the windows worked and they did a fantastic job double hung windows are an outstanding option particularly for those that live in a coastal environment where you have rain, but you still want to feel the cool breeze. You can lower the top sash down and your interior is protected from the rain by the eve over your house. You don't have blowing rain coming into your home one of the big features of the storm breakers was the noise level and how it incredibly reduced street noise and just every day environmental noises that we sometimes take for granted we just presume you have to live with these windows eliminated a huge amount of noise from the street level. I want to personally thank the owner, of Charleston roof and windows for contacting us and attempting and working out a resolution that we could all not just live with but make the process much more enjoyable. Buying windows is not something that most people enjoy doing. It's something that is a necessity usually. The owner made this a much better process, and we greatly appreciate his attention and his gratitude towards us as a customer. We would recommend Charleston Roof & Windows for anyone that's interested in replacing your windows or any type of job that you needed done -

2 months agoCharleston Roofs + Windows replaced the siding on our house. Working with them was a pleasure, from obtaining the initial quote throught the entire process to job completion. The job was completed on-time and on-budget, just as estimated. Everyone we dealt with was professional and curtious. The transferable lifetime warranty on the siding was an unexpected bonus. Definitely a 5-star experience.
