12 years agoIt went exactly as the owner said it would go. There was one problem with the electrical, which was not their fault, but the owner quickly fixed it. It was a much better installation than the one done previously 18 years ago. -

14 years agoThey came and instead of telling us we needed a whole new unit, because our house is over 18 years old, they were honest enough to say that the freon was down. The goofed the freon a little but found that the condenser was bad. Rather then $5000.00 to $10,000.00 for a new unit we paid $12,00.00 for a new condenser. They are very fair and honest would be the biggest word. My husband is an engineer and is very sceptical of people in labor. He thinks they are going to take him for a ride all the time. They had to order the part and said they would be back the following week, they called before they came and came back less then a week.

Are you licensed and insured for HVAC and electrical work?
Moss Heating and Air, Inc. carries the necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance required for HVAC contracting and electrical services in South Carolina. This protects your property and provides accountability for any work performed. Our team handles local permitting and inspections as needed for compliance.
Does Moss Heating and Air, Inc. handle AC repairs, furnace fixes, and full system installations for homes and attics?
We manage a full range of HVAC services, from AC repairs and furnace fixes to complete system installations for both homes and businesses. Our crew installs outdoor units next to structures like brick houses and services indoor units in attics. This covers everything needed to keep Upstate spaces comfortable year-round.

How does Moss Heating and Air, Inc. handle cleanup and debris after HVAC installations or repairs?
We leave your home clean by using drop cloths and shoe covers during the job, then removing all waste and debris from installations or services. This includes proper disposal of old units or parts. Your space is restored to its original condition, ready for immediate use.
Why is hiring you for HVAC work safer and better than attempting a DIY fix?
Professional HVAC work involves proper refrigerant handling, electrical connections, and airflow testing, which require specialized tools and certifications to avoid risks like leaks or system damage. We diagnose issues accurately, such as low freon levels instead of unnecessary replacements, and fix unexpected problems like electrical glitches promptly. DIY attempts often lead to inefficiency, safety hazards, or voided warranties, while our approach ensures code-compliant, long-lasting results.
