1 year agoMy mom has used this company for over three years. Unfortunately, for the last six months, she has been charged monthly for the service but received no treatments. We have repeatedly tried to contact this company to cancel. They do not answer their phone and we have no way to cancel other than cancel the card used for payment. I would not recommend this company. They are taking money and not giving services. -

FAQ
How does Pura Pest Control determine pricing for pest control services?
We provide custom quotes based on a thorough inspection of your home and the specific pest issues we find. During the initial visit, our technicians assess the extent of the infestation, identify entry points, and evaluate your property's size and layout. This allows us to give you an accurate estimate that reflects the actual work needed rather than charging a one-size-fits-all price. We believe in fair pricing that fits Greenville families, and we're transparent about what you'll pay before any treatment begins.
Are you licensed and insured?
Pura Pest Control maintains the proper licensing and insurance required to operate as a pest control service in South Carolina. When our technicians visit your home, they can provide documentation of these credentials for your records. Working with a licensed and insured company protects you in case of any accidents or issues during service, and it ensures you're hiring professionals who meet state standards for pest control work.
Does Pura Pest Control handle wildlife removal in addition to insects?
Yes, we handle both wildlife and pest control issues. Our team is equipped to deal with rodents, snakes, and other wildlife that may be on your property, along with common insects like spiders, centipedes, and other bugs. Whether you've found a shed snake skin in your yard or noticed signs of rodents in your home, we can assess the situation and remove the wildlife safely while also addressing how they got inside in the first place.
How long does a typical pest control service visit take?
Pura Pest Control schedules the first visit to allow adequate time for a complete inspection and treatment. Initial appointments typically take longer than follow-up visits because our technicians need to thoroughly examine your home, identify problem areas, and explain their findings and treatment plan to you. The exact duration depends on your home's size and the severity of the pest issue, but you can expect our team to take the time needed to do the job right rather than rushing through.
What does Pura Pest Control do to prevent pests from coming back?
We focus on both eliminating current infestations and preventing future ones. Our approach includes identifying how pests are entering your home and recommending exclusion measures like sealing entry points and removing conditions that attract them. We explain every step clearly so you understand what we're doing and why, and we can discuss follow-up treatments or preventive plans that fit your needs. Our goal is to make your home comfortable year-round by keeping bugs and critters out for good.
Why should I hire a professional instead of handling pest control myself?
Professional pest control is safer and more effective than DIY approaches because we use EPA-approved products correctly and know how to target pests at different life stages. Our technicians are trained to identify the specific pest species in your home, which matters because different pests require different treatment methods. We also address the root causes of infestations, not just the visible problem, which prevents pests from returning. Attempting DIY treatments can expose your family to chemicals improperly, miss hidden entry points, and often costs more in the long run.
