3 weeks agoNathan helped us out a lot with a leaky shower faucet that was out of my league. He provided an estimate that was very close to the $$$ number I thought it would be and discussed our options. He was very professional and conscientious about our carpets. -

1 month agoNate from On-Call Plumbing is awesome. He came to my house last minute on a Friday to fix a hose bib that had been leaking for quite some time. He was very thorough and took the time to explain what he did and how he fixed it. Other companies told me the entire hose bib would need to be replaced, but Nate simply replaced the knob on top and solved the problem. It's refreshing to work with someone who is honest, practical, and willing to go the extra mile instead of pushing unnecessary work. I really appreciate people like Nate and will definitely continue working with On-Call Plumbing in the future. -

FAQ
How does On Call Plumbing, Heating & Air determine pricing for HVAC work?
We provide detailed written estimates that break down equipment costs, labor, permits, materials, and any additional services before work begins. Our estimates include specific model numbers and a clear scope of work so you understand exactly what's included and what isn't. We're happy to discuss financing options if needed, and we can also help you explore utility rebates or federal incentives that may apply to your system upgrade.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
On Call Plumbing, Heating & Air maintains the proper licensing and insurance coverage required to protect you and your home. We carry workers' compensation and general liability insurance, and our team is familiar with local permitting requirements and inspections. We can provide proof of our credentials and certifications upon request, including EPA 608 certification for anyone handling refrigerant.
Does On Call Plumbing, Heating & Air install smart thermostats and UV air cleaners?
Yes, we handle smart thermostat installations and UV air cleaner systems as part of our comprehensive HVAC services. Our technicians will set up your thermostat and walk you through operation and maintenance. We also evaluate your entire system-including ductwork and airflow-to recommend the best indoor air quality solutions for your specific home and comfort needs.
What should I expect for timeline and scheduling when I call for service?
You can expect us to arrive on time and communicate clearly about what to expect during your visit. Our team will protect your home with drop cloths and shoe covers, consult with you about the work being done, and conduct performance testing at completion. We'll walk you through system operation, maintenance requirements, and warranty registration so you're fully informed before we leave.
How does On Call Plumbing, Heating & Air handle cleanup and protection of my home during service?
We take care to protect your home during all work by using drop cloths and floor coverings in work areas. Our technicians remove cabinet items gently and restore your space to its original condition before leaving. We handle debris disposal and ensure your home is clean and safe after the job is complete, so you don't have to worry about the mess.
Why is a professional load calculation better than DIY sizing or rule-of-thumb estimates?
A proper load calculation considers your home's unique layout, insulation levels, window types and placement, air leakage rates, local climate, and occupancy to size equipment correctly. An undersized system will run constantly without reaching comfort, while an oversized unit wastes energy and shortens equipment life. We perform Manual J calculations to ensure your new HVAC system is sized precisely for your home, preventing efficiency problems and costly repairs down the road.
