7 years agoJoe Mitchell who owns J & M Concrete Construction, 12411 S 91st St Palos Park, Il 60464, was hired to remove & replace concrete driveway at my house in Tinley Park, Il. He took out concrete, but never removed old fill. He added new fill, then pitched driveway back toward house & also toward the steps that go down to utility room & family room. When the snow melted last winter & re froze at night we had a major problem. My wife & I are in our 60's. We didn't need to fall & brake a hip or bone, because of his shoddy work. The Village of Tinley Park failed the final inspection. Joe said he would fix only half of the problem & wanted me to pay for the other half of his mistake. The village filed for $8400.00 of his bond money with Western Security. They gave Joe Mitchell 21 days to get in touch with me to resolve the issue. He never contacted me. Western Security sent me a check for $8400.00 to have driveway replaced. J & M Concrete Construction is Joe Mitchell's 3rd time with a different name. Watch out for him! He uses the Palos Park address with different names.
