2 months agoWe recently had a ClimateMaster Tranquility 30 geothermal system, along with a steam humidifier and UV light, installed in our home by Prime Home HVAC, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the beginning, they came highly recommended by our local ClimateMaster distributor, Creative Energy, and they absolutely lived up to that recommendation. I had the pleasure of working with Dominic, Brandon, Nathan, and Brian, and every one of them was exceptional. The team was prompt, professional, and very respectful of our home. They kept the work area clean and organized throughout the project, which we really appreciated. One feature I especially liked was their text notification system when a technician was on the way-a small touch that makes scheduling much easier. It's clear that Prime Home HVAC takes pride in their work and customer service. I will definitely be using them for all of our future preventative maintenance and HVAC needs. Highly recommend! -

2 months agoPrime Home installed our residential Amana HVAC system and cleaned all the ducts. 4 months agoI have had my system for over 2 years and my main biggest hearing unit has never worked correctly. Prime installed this unit and has tried to bandaid this for 2 years. A couple months ago I was told where prime installed the unit at was causing the problem and I could pay extra money to have it moved due to there installation error. I want happy about that and voiced that through a message. 2 months later and prime has yet to fix our even reach out about this issue. This is poor customer service and for a problem that has existed since install. I also pay for the monthly service and extended warranty, still no fix. -

5 months agoWe couldn't leave a higher review for Prime Home! They are exceptionally kind, efficient, knowledgeable people who do honest & solid work. They have done so much for us this year, all at a reasonable cost & in a quick timeframe. This summer our AC broke and they came out & replaced it within days, while other HVAC companies couldn't come out for weeks, and at a higher cost. All of their employees are courteous & respectful while performing their job and are never in a rush to get their job done. We are super impressed by their communication, care in their craft, and exceptional hospitality as a business. We will always use Prime Home for all of our HVAC needs!

FAQ
Does Prime Home HVAC offer free estimates for AC installation or furnace repairs?
We provide detailed quotes based on the specific needs of your HVAC system, including equipment sizing, labor, and any required ductwork modifications. Factors like system type, home size, and existing setup determine the final pricing to ensure efficiency and proper performance. Contact us to schedule an in-home assessment for an accurate estimate tailored to your York, PA home.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Prime Home HVAC carries all necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance, including workers' compensation and general liability to protect your property during service. Our technicians hold EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants safely in line with federal requirements. This setup ensures compliance with local codes in York, PA, and provides peace of mind for any installations or repairs.
Does Prime Home HVAC install heat pumps, ductless mini splits, and geothermal systems?
We handle full installations of heat pumps, ductless mini splits, geothermal systems, gas furnaces, and AC units, along with custom ductwork to optimize airflow. Our process includes evaluating your home's insulation, layout, and energy needs to select the right system for year-round comfort. Photos of our recent jobs show properly installed outdoor units and indoor furnaces ready for efficient operation.
What is your typical timeline for scheduling and completing HVAC services?
We offer flexible scheduling with arrival windows communicated in advance, aiming to start jobs promptly after your quote approval. Installation timelines vary from one day for repairs to a few days for full systems like EV chargers or water softeners, depending on parts availability and permitting. Our team coordinates directly with you to minimize disruption and complete work efficiently.
Does Prime Home HVAC clean up after HVAC installations and repairs?
We use drop cloths and shoe covers to protect your floors and furnishings during the job, then thoroughly clean the work area before leaving. All debris from ductwork modifications, old unit removals, or piping installations gets hauled away, leaving your home neat. This standard practice applies to every service, from furnace swaps to water heater setups in utility rooms.
Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting HVAC DIY projects?
Our professional approach follows industry standards like proper refrigerant charging, static pressure testing, and code-compliant electrical connections to prevent hazards like leaks or fires. DIY often skips critical steps such as load calculations or duct leakage tests, leading to inefficient systems, higher energy bills, and premature failures. We educate homeowners on maintenance basics during visits, like checking filters, while ensuring installations meet manufacturer specs for longevity and safety.
