they are from PA trying to contract snow removal in Ohio ... weird and shady... we passed on the work due to all the red flags... they proposed a net 45 day pay contract and a price point of about 30% of the actual going rate in our area ...

I use to be a contractor for them. I have contacted them many times about paying me my final payment for last season and they keep giving me the run around. Lies...Bad business!

An associate by the name Kevin was unwilling to give price, he really made it difficult and claimed they are not the cheapest. Kevin did not even bother to schedule me an appointment to come out to see the community that is needing service. Even stated that the owner Chuck would tell me the same thing. I never stated I needed the cheapest company. I just need a bid (prices) so that I can get an approval from my Corporate. I work for a corporate company that approves all new vendors. I will take my business elsewhere where they value new customer and potential business.

FAQ

How does Snow & Ice Management Company determine pricing for snow removal services?

We offer multiple pricing models to fit different needs and budgets. Seasonal contracts provide a fixed monthly rate regardless of how many snow events occur, which helps you plan your winter budget predictably. Per-event pricing charges you only when we service your property, though costs can vary based on storm intensity. We also offer hybrid seasonal contracts that combine both approaches. To get an accurate quote, we assess your property layout, parking lot size, critical access areas, and specific service requirements during a site evaluation.

Are you licensed and insured?

Snow & Ice Management Company maintains proper insurance coverage to protect your property and our team. We carry workers' compensation insurance and can provide certificates of insurance upon request. When evaluating our qualifications, we encourage you to ask about our Experience Modification Factor, which reflects our safety record and claims history. We also verify that any subcontractors we work with maintain their own insurance documentation, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all aspects of your service.

What specific snow and ice management services does Snow & Ice Management Company provide?

We handle comprehensive winter property maintenance including snow plowing for parking lots and access roads, sidewalk clearing for pedestrian safety, professional salting and de-icing applications, and snow relocation and hauling when needed. Our equipment ranges from pickup trucks with plows to large loaders and specialized sidewalk machines, allowing us to manage everything from light snowfall to major winter storms. We also provide pre-treatment strategies to prevent ice buildup before storms arrive, and we can identify and prioritize your property's mission-critical areas such as entrances, exits, delivery docks, and high-traffic zones.

How quickly will you respond when it snows, and what should I expect for scheduling?

Snow & Ice Management Company monitors weather conditions in real-time and mobilizes our crews based on predetermined trigger points-typically when snow accumulation reaches specific thresholds. During a single snow event, we can plow multiple times depending on storm duration and intensity to maintain clear access throughout. We assign a primary point of contact who coordinates scheduling and communication, so you know exactly who to reach out to. Our around-the-clock response capability means your property receives attention when needed most, though exact arrival windows depend on storm severity and our service queue.

Where does Snow & Ice Management Company move the snow from my property, and how is it handled?

We work with you to determine appropriate snow placement on your property before winter begins, identifying designated pile areas that don't interfere with operations or customer access. If on-site storage isn't feasible, we offer snow hauling services to relocate accumulation off your property entirely. Our team takes care to protect your landscaping and property features during clearing and pile management. We discuss these logistics during the initial site assessment so there are no surprises during active winter operations.

Why should I hire a professional snow removal company instead of handling it myself?

Professional snow management protects both safety and liability in ways DIY approaches cannot match. We use commercial-grade equipment and professional-grade salting and de-icing products applied strategically to prevent accidents on parking lots, walkways, and entryways. Our crews understand property-specific challenges like traffic flow patterns, critical access areas, and equipment placement that require expertise to execute safely. We also carry insurance, maintain documented safety practices, and provide around-the-clock monitoring-eliminating the burden on your staff and ensuring consistent, compliant winter maintenance throughout the season.
