6 years agoThird Generation is, without question, one of the finest service contractors of any kind that I have ever worked with (and, living in an old, old house, I've worked with a lot of them). Ryan Ravas is an exceedingly responsive business person/service provider. He never fails to get back to me in a speedy fashion when I have an HVAC-related issue. I first worked with Ryan and Third Generation in April of this past year when I needed major work done on my 150-year-old home's systems. Ryan patiently walked me through all of my options, explaining seriously complex technical details in a way that made me feel neither overwhelmed or stupid. His expertise and clear passion for his work really put me at ease. His crew spent about a week in my home working on this project, and they were consistently professional, polite, and conscientious. It is clear that Ryan wants his work to speak for itself, and he is determined to work with his client to get things right, not just provide a quick fix or secure a quick buck for himself. If you are looking for an HVAC contractor to forge a long-term relationship with and you seek someone who will care for your house as much as you do, Ryan and Third Generation are for you. 7 years ago$1,200. Ryan called, quoted and installed in 24hrs. I feel the price was right in line with everyone else. Ryan did go above and beyond in helping me with my humidifier and HVAC unit and didn't charge any extra. He didn't even ask about removal of the old tank, some places either charged extra to take it or they leave the old hot water tank for you to get rid of. I was extremely happy and would recommend them to anyone looking for any furnace, AC, or hot water services. -
