3 months agoWe're in the middle of an absolutely brutal winter, temps in the teens and lower all week, and I woke up this morning to a freezing house after my furnace failed during the night. I called Tony, and he was there within the hour. He got my system back up and running fast and was truly a lifesaver. His knowledge and skill with HVAC is unmatched. If I could give 100/5 stars, I would. The absolute best in the business. Thank you, T D'Albora Heating and Cooling! -

3 months agoMy Furnace and air conditioner were 30+ years old but limping along. The Furnace finally gave up. Of course it was the night before Thanksgiving. I called Tony and he came out and tore it apart and called me in and explained step by step what was wrong and why my Furnace was very unsafe. He did not try to scare, or sell, or anything like that, just facts and explanations. Needless to say I had been expecting a replacement and he confirmed it. Tony and his crew were very professional and very reasonably priced and very quick. Tony even custom built some parts that were normally a purchased kit, just to save some money for me. This business is top notch and I would give more than 5 stars if possible!!! Thank you Tony!

FAQ
How does T. D'Albora Heating and Cooling determine pricing for HVAC work?
We provide custom quotes based on the specific details of your system and needs. Our estimates include a breakdown of labor costs, equipment pricing, and any additional materials required for the job. We recommend requesting a detailed written estimate that itemizes all components so you understand exactly what you're paying for and can compare it against other quotes. This transparency helps you make an informed decision about your heating and cooling investment.
Are you licensed, insured, and certified to perform HVAC work?
T. D'Albora Heating and Cooling maintains the proper licensing, insurance, and certifications required to handle HVAC installations, repairs, and service work in Pennsylvania. We carry workers' compensation and general liability insurance to protect both your home and our team. When you hire a licensed and insured contractor, you're protected against liability and have recourse if issues arise during the work.
Does T. D'Albora Heating and Cooling handle mini-split installations and other specialty systems?
Yes, we install and service a range of heating and cooling systems including central air conditioning, furnace replacements, baseboard heaters, and mini-split units from manufacturers like Bryant and Carrier. Our experience with multiple system types means we can recommend the best solution for your home's specific needs. Whether you need a traditional furnace setup or a modern ductless mini-split system, we have the expertise to handle the installation and ongoing maintenance.
What should I expect for scheduling and how quickly can you respond to emergency calls?
T. D'Albora Heating and Cooling responds quickly to both scheduled appointments and emergency breakdowns, including nights and weekends when your heating or cooling fails unexpectedly. We understand that furnace failures in winter or air conditioning breakdowns in summer can't wait, so our team prioritizes getting your system running again as soon as possible. When you call, we'll discuss your situation and work to schedule a service visit that fits your timeline.
How does T. D'Albora Heating and Cooling handle cleanup and protection of my home during installation?
We take care to protect your home during any HVAC work, using drop cloths and taking precautions to minimize disruption to your living space. Our crew cleans up debris and waste materials from the installation or repair, leaving your home in good condition once the work is complete. We also walk you through operation and maintenance of your new or repaired system so you know how to keep it running efficiently.
Why should I hire a professional instead of attempting HVAC work myself?
HVAC systems involve complex electrical connections, refrigerant handling, and precise equipment sizing that require specialized training and certification to do safely and correctly. Improper installation or repair can decrease system efficiency, shorten equipment lifespan, and create safety hazards in your home. Our team conducts proper load calculations, inspects ductwork and airflow, verifies refrigerant charge according to manufacturer specifications, and installs safety switches and drain lines to code-work that protects both your investment and your family's comfort.
