  John Z's "Home Solutions" did an amazing job bringing our basement vision to a reality. They were professional, meticulous, and highly skilled at their craft. They made us feel at ease throughout the entire process, and completed the basement in just 3 months. Within that time we had a luxury style basement that included a full gym, entertainment area, bar, and walkout with an updated storage area to complete the job. They also installed a sump pump and other requested items that were not a part of the original plan. The new basement increased our property value tremendously, and the quality of work was consistent with our current finishes. We highly recommend "Home Solutions" with John Z if you are considering building or renovating your basement.

  We are so grateful for the beautiful job that John & his team did on our basement this winter. He took a completely unfinished space and turned it into our dream basement, complete with family and play spaces, a home gym, office, full bathroom, and guest room. John is a true professional. He came in person several times to help us work through the plans for the space until we had the perfect configuration, and was so attentive to all of our questions, concerns and requests. We felt a part of the process throughout and he was always there to give his experienced opinion. He took care of everything leading up to construction, which - just the way it lined up - began 2 days after we brought our infant son home from the hospital. He and his team were professional, respectful, courteous, and considerate, from how he set up the site and made sure the demo dumpster wouldn't sink into our lawn, to their schedule and asking us when and how late it was ok to work. They were great about telling us when water and electric might be affected with the baby home. John's experience shows in his attention to detail. He thought of things we would never in a million years have thought of, from access panels that will make maintenance a breeze in the future, to the light switch configuration, to outlet placement. The project went as expected and even was completed earlier than estimated, and communication was professional and flawless throughout. We cannot say enough about John, his team, or how much we love our new basement. You can feel 100% secure in your decision to work with him.

  After setting the intention of finishing my basement, I knew I was going to be meeting with at least a dozen GCs in the Lehigh Valley area. As a homeowner, this is a massive investment so I was very careful in my selection process. After meeting with John Zyskowski, it was very clear to me that he was a level above all the other GCs that I met with. John was one of the very few that had a strong professional background as a GC in home building. And for what he was offering in our agreement, the pricing was very reasonable. I was very specific with him that I wanted a soundproof basement from the rest of our house, so that I could enjoy my home theater sound system without bothering people upstairs, and he absolutely delivered on that. Other aspects like the plumbing for the full bathroom were very complex, but with John's experience it was no issue for him. He is very easy going and friendly. He will never put pressure on you as a client and will listen to what you want most out of your finished basement, that was what I appreciated most. I highly recommend setting up a meeting with him.

  The first time we met John for a quote he inspired confidence which we hadn't had in other contractors. His work throughout our basement renovation project validated that confidence. We were impressed by John's planning and strategy to deal with some engineering challenges which were handled without issue. The quality of work - from initial framing and electrical work to the finishing touchups - met our every expectation. Much his work, such as addressing lighting/electrical issues in the unfinished area of our basement, easily exceeded our expectations. Of particular note... We've always been conscious of the importance of safety and security in our home. As we envisioned a basement renovation project those concerns always came up for consideration - specifically, access to our home by strangers. John and his crew quickly put those concerns to rest. They quickly earned our confidence as respectful, honorable people who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable having them on our property. We wholeheartedly recommend John and his crew for any home project.
