1 month agoQuick response to my message I left. Quick service call to home. They kept in contact with me as to the timing of arrival and updates. Plus who the technician would be. Plus a photo of technician. Tyson was courteous, professional and answered all questions. I was basically getting an inspection because we hadn't had our furnace serviced in ages. Tyson cleaned and inspected the parts and reported to me that the furnace was in great condition and needed nothing replaced. I was very happy about that and could rest assured that the furnace was in safe condition. -

3 months agoCody Rossman, very nice. Have a noise I thought was coming from the heater. Turns out not. Gave some thoughts what it could be. Recommended a vent cleaning company. Did some minor stuff. Was a great experience. A very nice and friendly person. The Kramers Thank you. -

3 months agoMy furnace died and because it and the air conditioner were 19 years old, I had them replaced with a hybrid system. Gas furnace and heat pump AC. I also decided to have a zone temperature control for my two story house. The two guys showed up on time, worked nonstop, and cleaned up after themselves. They discovered why two registers weren't receiving air - I noticed it years ago but never did anything about it. They replaced ducts in the crawl space at a reasonable cost and kept working until it was done. Good job guys!

FAQ
How does Gresham Heating and Air Conditioning determine pricing for HVAC work?
We provide detailed written estimates that break down all costs upfront, including labor, equipment with specific model numbers, permits, and any additional materials. Our estimates also clarify what is and isn't included in the scope of work so you understand exactly what you're paying for before we begin. We can discuss financing options and available rebates during the estimate process to help you make an informed decision about your investment.
Are you licensed, insured, and certified to handle HVAC work?
Gresham Heating and Air Conditioning maintains proper licensing, bonding, and insurance coverage to protect you and your home. We carry workers' compensation and general liability insurance, and our technicians hold EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling as required by federal law. You can request proof of our credentials and insurance before any work begins.
Does Gresham Heating and Air Conditioning install zone temperature control systems?
Yes, we specialize in zone temperature control installations as part of our system replacement and upgrade services. Zone systems allow you to control temperatures independently in different areas of your home, improving comfort and energy efficiency. Our team will evaluate your home's layout, ductwork, and airflow during the design phase to ensure your zone system is properly sized and installed.
What should I expect for scheduling and arrival times?
Gresham Heating and Air Conditioning communicates clearly about timing from the moment you contact us. We provide advance notice of our arrival window and keep you updated on any changes. Our technicians arrive on schedule and will introduce themselves so you know who is working in your home.
How does Gresham Heating and Air Conditioning handle cleanup and debris after installation?
We protect your home during the installation process using drop cloths and shoe covers to minimize disruption. After completing the work, we clean up the installation area and properly dispose of old equipment and materials according to local regulations. Our goal is to leave your home in the same condition we found it, minus the new or repaired HVAC system.
Why is professional HVAC installation better than attempting it yourself?
Improper installation can significantly reduce system efficiency and shorten equipment lifespan, costing you more in energy bills and premature replacement. Professional installation includes critical steps like proper refrigerant charging, correctly sized line sets, duct inspection and sealing, and verification of airflow and static pressure to manufacturer specifications. We also handle permitting, inspections, and system testing to ensure everything operates safely and efficiently-tasks that require specialized tools and training.
