FAQ
Does Smart HVAC LLC offer free estimates or how is pricing determined?
We provide detailed quotes based on thorough diagnostics of your heating or cooling system to ensure honest pricing without unnecessary replacements. This approach accounts for the specific issues found, such as furnace repairs or heat pump installations, rather than flat rates. Homeowners receive a clear breakdown upfront to understand all costs involved.
Are you licensed and insured?
Smart HVAC LLC carries the necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance required for HVAC work in Vancouver, WA, including EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants. We maintain workers' compensation and general liability coverage to protect your property during service. Proof of these is available upon request before any work begins.
Does Smart HVAC LLC handle heat pump and mini-split installations?
We install heat pumps and mini-split systems, including brands like Mitsubishi and York, with installations that have performed flawlessly for years. Our process involves core drilling for proper setup and thorough cleaning or re-insulation as needed for optimal performance. These systems suit Vancouver homes needing efficient heating and cooling solutions.
What is your typical timeline for service and arrival windows?
We respond quickly to service calls and provide clear arrival windows to fit your schedule. For repairs, technicians arrive promptly and may spend extended time, like seven hours, to fully resolve issues without rushing. Installations follow a structured timeline from quote to completion, with updates throughout.
Does Smart HVAC LLC clean up after the job and handle debris?
We leave your home clean by using drop cloths, shoe covers, and thorough cleanup of all debris from installations or repairs. Technicians remove old equipment parts and waste, ensuring no mess remains after furnace fixes, heat pump installs, or system cleanings. This keeps your space protected and ready for immediate use.
Why is hiring you better than attempting a DIY HVAC repair?
Our thorough diagnostics prevent costly mistakes like unnecessary replacements, as we fix issues other technicians overlook by spending the time needed. DIY attempts risk improper refrigerant handling, electrical hazards, or poor insulation that shortens system life and raises energy bills. Professional tools and knowledge ensure safe, code-compliant work with verified performance.
